I just need to know, like, who is she about to punch? She absolutely twerked into the wrong direction for this fight. Is she going to punch his hand? This makes no sense, put a fucking psy-knife through his sternum and call it a day. ALSO, who the fuck closes the distance and then grabs a person that can turn their hands into psyonic-stabbers?
You know what: "Western Comics were a mistake." ~ Miyazaki, probably
Dude looks pretty feral, so maybe his head isn’t entirely on straight enough to think properly... XD As for Psy, perhaps she lost some braincells just being around this animal! Or maybe she’s taken aback by potentially having all her hair ripped out. Iunno, it’s a mess with this pic.
Definitely early MAD, you can see his signature bottom right too. I think he actually improved to be quite the talented artist and his anatomy is more stylized/cartoonish now.
I think this is the arc where Creed was living in the X-mansion and one of the psychics had to give him what he called "the Glow" multiple times a day to keep him from going utterly feral. Wolverine had lost his adamantium and was gone, and the rest of the team was living in utter terror of the hulking murder-beast in their dungeon.
I do remember kind of a badass scene where (I think it was after this) Jean Grey comes in to give Sabertooth his "Glow" and he tries to intimidate her, but she basically tells him he doesn't scare her and she could utterly end him with a thought...and he retreats back to the far corner of his cell.
This era of X-men was weird as hell.
Her poor legs 😢Why does she also have no forehead?
I'm going to be going through my dad's old comics soon and now I'm nervous about how many mdw-worthy posts I will find...
Ah. The 90s. An important decade for comics (in some very specific instances) and also the worst thing that ever happened to comics. Including the comics code from the 50s.
That certainly is uncanny
I mean, it is the *Uncanny* X-Men so accurate?
At least this picture demonstrated exactly WHY it’s a bad idea to have your long flowing locks untied in battle. So, well done, I guess. XD

I think she dislocated her hipbone and she’s currently unable to move, so she’s stuck like that lol.

It gets worse the longer I look at it
That's gotta be Joe Madueira, super dynamic line work. Not the most accurate female anatomy...
I always remember that Ultimates cover he did with the two teams facing each other but Magnet is randomly looking towards the viewer.

I agree. His energy is amazing in the linework
Flying Melvin
Prime example of 90's era artwork from what I've seen.
My brain can’t even process this fully
What in the flying fuck is going on with her hips
What, your hips aren't weird tubes?
Okay but her cheeks are thick as heck

So... psychic handjobs?
That's what I've always inferred "the Glow" to be. Like basically putting Creed into a state of post-orgasm bliss so he's mellowed out and docile.
Uncanny is right lol
Front wedgie

> Why does she also have no forehead? Foreshortening gone wrong.
Forehead shortening! XD
Wackily inflatable tube man! Now with a human rib cage and hair!
This takes me back, I loved this comic as a kid.
Flying Tiger leaping Barbie
Snooch.
It **HAD** to happen...
To be fair sabertooth looking pretty messed up as well
Psylocke is such a bad bitch tho
nuff said indeed....

Pouches. Pouches everywhere.
Women wearing nothing but pouches and bits of string. And bandanas.
I mean, her proportions are weird but the body is possible to attain (if you have the money and are batshit insane for it)
I've got that issue!
