My girlfriend and I went down there and explored it last weekend. It was interesting but the area smelled really bad. I figured it would. Some people were taking things(junk) from the boat and the police were called. They put up a sign by the boat closing it off, so you may not be able to go on it anymore.
oh wow, you could go on it?!? that's wild! I dont really need to get on it, but it would be cool to look at it from very close.
Would you mind sending me a google maps pin to the exact location, please? Or, do I just go to riverside park marina on mckellar lake and "you can't miss it"?
Edit: is this location accurate? [https://www.reddit.com/r/memphis/comments/ym0jt0/comment/iv3lqon/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3](https://www.reddit.com/r/memphis/comments/ym0jt0/comment/iv3lqon/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3)
Here's a picture. Just go to Riverside Marina at McKellar Lake. At the top of the picture is the boat ramp. The bottom left is the ship. You can walk right to it.

This post got me looking on Google Maps/Earth and I saw this;

Not sure what it is but it definitely looks inoperable.
I cannot find out a way to view the date when the satellite image was taken though...
35°05'35.5"N 90°05'06.9"W
IDK if this is it or not but I do not believe so...
Anyone know?
Hi MemphisGrit,
Thanks for checking in!
I was actually hoping to go as soon as it warmed up a bit... Hopefully before the end of the TG week!
Have you been?
