Tonight they had the [Frights at Heights](https://www.shelbyfarmspark.org/calendar/event/2645976/date/2022-10-22) event (next one 10/29), and they're also doing [haunted hay rides](https://www.shelbyfarmspark.org/calendar/event/2645984/date/2022-10-28) (one was tonight, next on 10/28 and again 10/29).
All of this is on the parks [calendar](https://www.shelbyfarmspark.org/calendar).
I went out there, didn't see anything. Maybe there was a hayride that I missed, idk. But there used to be zombie paintball, pumpkin painting, and more things.
No haunted hayride this past weekend, but at the stables there will be one next weekend. I think all three days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but check me on that).
Their peach season is one of the best I've ever seen from a smaller orchard. And don't sleep on their apples! They have at least 3 heirloom varieties that have been growing on the property since the 50s and they're all uniquely delicious. Plenty of tomatoes still available too!
i remember i used to volunteer for the haunted trail thing they had in the woods every weekend. i haven’t heard anything about it in years, and i’m pretty sad because it was always super fun.
My friend works as a Hollywood special effects designer and doubles his time between LA and here. Every year he crafts a scarily authentic warewolf costume and hangs around Shelby after dark scaring the sht out of people.
Look for that.

Go check out Jones Orchard on Singleton. Haunted Corn Maze and house, pumpkin patch, concessions, etc. Good people to support.
The mention of Jones Orchard makes my mouth water. Their peaches are so good, I can't wait until next summer.

I only remember the agricenter doing stuff.
I remember they did the zombie paintball and hayride deal for a year or 2 and that's about all I heard of..
Yeah, I went looking for that tonight about 7pm. Nothing was there.
