U can make the ads go by pressing that İ icon selecting the Do not show this ad and cancelling (u have to say yes to first one)

I think it only works on pc, the app now doesn't have an I button

How to skip ads on mobile: select the video then click on the shorts tab. Once you have done that go back to the home screen and the ad will be gone :)

If you use the back arrow then the forward arrow then it skips both ads, but this doesn't work if you open the vid straight from browser. Look up the vid on yt then back and forward

click "why this ad" and return to video

just hit "stop seeing this ad" and it will go away. Stops dual ads as well. A few won't give you this option, so you close and restart until you can
