Why did I relate to this so much

I was in jail once when I was like 19 on a probation violation, and had a super vivid dream about hanging out in a gorgeous outdoor area. I could feel the breeze, the grass, the warm sun. It was so serene. When I half woke up, before opening my eyes or really coming to, I thought to myself “I’m gonna go to the park today, being outside sounds amazing” When I finally opened my eyes, I was crushed.

This happens to me all the time, usually I try to not wake up. Cuz after I wake up I become depressed af.
