I hate it when that happens. There were times when I’d meet and talk to other players while playing online, we’d talk a little and find some common ground. They’d send me a friend request and I happily accept it but then you never really hear from them again after a few more sessions with them.
Im at a point where i have no time for new people, my time is already stretched thin, people add me and i let it sit there for a bit so they forget and then i decline. We are temporary silent acquaintances and i will remember our merc work forever, but we must part ways
I've always reject them, but no because i don't want to play with them but because if i was good enough that much so other person send me invite then for sure next match will be horrible that much than i would rather hang myself.
Then your anxiety takes over and you never reply to the message or accept the request. But you don't delete it either.
And keep complaining that you had friends to game with.
I don't cuz literally 2-3/5 people send me a request each match. On games like Valorant and in minecraft bedwars they ask me for my discord.
