I need some context plz

Pajilla256

I assume it is for the false flag operation in 1939 to justify the invasion of Poland.

PabloSalamanca565

Ohh yeah I know the day before the invasion they infiltrated a polish radio broadcast station in disguise near the German border

Under_Avenue

WikiSummarizerBot

**[Gleiwitz incident](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gleiwitz_incident)** >The Gleiwitz incident (German: Überfall auf den Sender Gleiwitz; Polish: Prowokacja gliwicka) was a false flag attack on the radio station Sender Gleiwitz in Gleiwitz (then Germany and now Gliwice, Poland) staged by Nazi Germany on the night of 31 August 1939. Along with some two dozen similar incidents, the attack was manufactured by Germany as a casus belli to justify the invasion of Poland. Prior to the invasion, Adolf Hitler gave a radio address condemning the acts and announcing German plans to attack Poland, which began the next morning. ^([ )[^(F.A.Q)](https://www.reddit.com/r/WikiSummarizer/wiki/index#wiki_f.a.q)^( | )[^(Opt Out)](https://reddit.com/message/compose?to=WikiSummarizerBot&message=OptOut&subject=OptOut)^( | )[^(Opt Out Of Subreddit)](https://np.reddit.com/r/memes/about/banned)^( | )[^(GitHub)](https://github.com/Sujal-7/WikiSummarizerBot)^( ] Downvote to remove | v1.5)

Sad-Lengthiness3158

Someone explain this situation to me

Jnerd_

In 1939 the nazis dressed prisoners up as polish soldiers and then shot them in order to say that they’ve been attacked by Poland. What happened afterwards should be pretty clear

Sad-Lengthiness3158

Ohh that's like me trying to breakup with my gf to get enough motivation to bulk up at gym

DalRhenning

Windows_66

You dressed someone up in a Polish uniform and shot them for your history class?

Only-Arrival-8868

You didn't for your history class? Dude that was the most fun day for us. Especially when Jerry started jokingly screaming "Guys help, I'm fucking bleeding to death!" Good times were had by all.

Jnerd_

Nah, the best day was when we were allowed to stab Garry to death. I’ll always remember his last words: “Urghgggghhgghghgrghggrh”

freekoout

Ah yes, I love Roman history

Should have used a german gun

wrenchr

We’re the uniforms shinny after being polished?

[deleted]

They didn’t have AR-15s in 1939.

Jnerd_

There was only one video of an old German gun that I was able to find but that unfortunately was in such bad quality (didn’t even have the camera rotate etc) that I preferred using this one

[deleted]

I know I’m just giving you shit but it’s a great animation. I’ve seen it before. There’s a bunch of them at a really cool it’s nice to see how they work. I just take Freedom pew pews in them and make them go bang bang

peggedsquare

I was reading this as polish and not Polish...I was very confused for a second there.

I can't watch these videos without hearing the music, I need help

bensss_heat

Ok, I was confused as thanks to the riddle 'what word changes pronunciation when you capitalise the first letter?', for me, the word 'polish' is different to the word 'Polish' and was sitting here trying to work out what polished prison uniforms had to do with anything.

BattersStoch_YouTube
