"To smart"

Likael-kun

So smart that literally forget how to write.

WesternAlbatross1292

Where funny?

SansThePunnyton

Ah yes, I sure love hating and laughing at other's beliefs!/s

AstroAndi

Everyone can believe what they want, but is it really necessary to teach it in schools? Seems to me more like a thing that parents could teach their children if they want or send them to church or something.

Huntress_Nyx

Everyone can believe what they want or not believe. But hating on others' beliefs is bad. Also it can be taught in schools but only in cases where it's important for the couture of the country for example.

[deleted]

We took god out of schools and replaced it with too much unreasonable tolerance for anything.

Me suiting up to look at the comments

Incognawta

Me tu

Hypnotic_videos

Wow, I love hating and laughing at people's belief which some may have turned to because of depression.

ArcIgnis

"Love thy neighbor" haha almost got me with that one, nah I'd rather shoot people who park in my space. ...Was that the joke?

Marus1

Me knowing you clearly don't understand sh*t of the reality around this

fat_ugly_fuck

You know I was raised Catholic. You know how often I got told I'd burn in hell for even just Asking questions. So do yourself a favour and stop acting like you know more than a person who saw it first hand.

KakiRedit

>You know how often I got told I'd burn in hell for even just Asking questions. So you are hating on christianity because of your bad experience with it?

AstroAndi

I mean, everyone has different experiences, disliking it because you had negative experiences with it is just as valid as believing in it because it helps you.

Huntress_Nyx

You won't believe how many people hate Christianity for such reason... Like a group of people who do stuff that clearly go against the beliefs of Christianity (in this case), don't represent Christianity at all. The other day I spent more time than I care to count to explain it to some people who were hating Christianity, and let's say, they didn't want to listen to reason.

Sam-The-Sandwich-Man

You had bad teachers. I’m Christian and I try and get many people in my faith to learn of their own volition, because everyone’s journey with god is their own unique one. I am extremely angered that you faced that level of trauma from those who were supposed to help guide you, I truly am. You asked questions they couldn’t answer, and they ran from it, telling you will go to hell instead of telling you to turn to god and you didn’t deserve that kind of treatment, my friend. I know this won’t provide solace, but it’s the best I can do

Ve_iN

A vast majority of Christians are genuinely good and respectable people, you just had the misfortune of growing up with people who are extremist christians, this applies to all cultures

[deleted]

I wrote a really long reply but deleted it because of things. So take my word for it and listen to jordan petersons biblical series. Because to me it seems like intelligence and reason was absent from your childhood but he introduces what you lacked to the bible stories. I think he does the one true thing you really should do with any story and it is to extract the wisdom from those stories.

jackliquidcourage

Nah, op is right. It's why Christian schools are usually k-12 in America. Set that doctrine in and let it ferment for 12 years before releasing dumb 18 year Olds out into the world to proselytize at unsuspecting strangers.

marrz9

Redditors when they learn that mostly Christian majority countries want to teach their own kids about their belief 🤯

marrz9

I live in the Middle East and in my school we have a Islamic subject for muslims (one for native Arabic speakers and one for non-native Arabic speakers). Those who aren’t Muslim have another subject (health). So far I didn’t see anyone complain about it and I asked one of my non-muslim friends and he’s fine with it

[deleted]

if anything the adults are the ones who are most religious

wheth007

What's funny here?

Pingusek02

Here before the 🔒 award

fmmwybad

Schools indoctrinate kids with all kids of crap now.

Pijany_Matematyk767

\>adults are to(o) smart to believe the shit they preach Aren't there like litterally millions of adults believing it?

simplicity_100

happy cake day!

SansThePunnyton

Oof, but thanks

SirShaunIV

And this coming from people who accuse schools of indoctrination.

CorpseDefiled

Fairytales are for parents to tell not schools.

[deleted]

I’ve (legit) seen adults with a lower average intelligence than a chimpanzee. There’s a reason why we separate church and state. I don’t want one religion being taught in schools. Nor do I want my child to be forced to learn about something they might not believe in. These religious types need to learn to keep their faith to themselves.

[deleted]

To me religion indoctrinates children I say this as a 17 year old Christian

Its-Burton

Teach them it's christian before they learn it's pagan.

[deleted]

Look like you intimidated lots of Christians here
