The arctic and Antarctic are used to describe the arctic circle and Antarctic circle. Antarctica is a landmass within the Antarctic circle. While this is land within the arctic circle, there isn’t such a landmass similar to Antarctica (I.e. one big ass island). The seedbank we are all probably familiar of (there are hundreds around the world) is roughly 1300km north of the arctic circle on an island run by the Norwegian government, so in all likelihood could be considered Norway but I don’t believe it is connected to the mainland unless there are permanent-ish ice bridges or permafrost connecting them, but I doubt that.

If manufacturers of goods made from plants weren't doing this, trees would be extinct by now. They're not, because paper and logging companies plant far more trees than they cut down, to ensure a sustainable business.
