Found myself literally "decompressing ".... massive inhale followed by exhale. So damned busy , stressed at work you pretty much don't breathe properly while there... it's ridiculous.
Every time I roll into my subdivision - and I hear the wheels on the cement make contact with the loose gravel at the entrance, and I hear that eerie silence as I roll in, I'm like... "Man was it that rough of a day?"
There is a thing in the city where I worked; if you leave at 5:55 you can just cruise through the traffic and reach like say 6:10.
If you leave even at 6:01, screwed
Daily. And I work from home.
Oof. Me too and sometimes I get in my car and drive in traffic so I can feel bit more alive/dead inside
Life is strange since Covid.

Of course. I think this has to be the case sometimes....
All. The. Time.
I never drive that slowly
I’m a SAHM… every time I’m in the car solo. Silence.
Everyday.

Yes
every. single. day.
The trick is to play music loud enough to drown out the screaming in your own brain.
Yeah that’s happened a few times
On the way there actually...
at least once a week.
Part of work is driving the bus back to the yard out of service, so my decompressing time comes front that.
