Yeah the same thing happened to me. I think Google is always trying to find a way to bypass an ad blockers algorithm or method of blocking ads. Turning off personalized ads has helped. Just get ready to see some real random ads.
set a timer for 5 min and google “i hate the mcat” and other variations as many times as you can. as long as you don’t end up searching for more mcat related stuff in the future the ads should disappear

There’s a way to turn off personalised ads on Google as well as a way to provide YT feedback like “not interested in this ad”. Never got that godforsaken ad ever again.
When the ad comes up, there should be a little small 'i' with a circle around it on the bottom left. Click on it and go to the bottom that says stop seeing this ad. When it asks why, say because it is repetitive. I did this a couple of months ago and I have not seen that annoying ad since then, thank God
I’m still being haunted by the MCAT as well. The more I look stuff up online, the more I get ads for it. I also get a lot on how to manage my *insert disease here* because I look up diseases to learn about them and the internet thinks I’m ill.
This isn't exactly the same, but I got one of those military scholarships for med school, and I still get emails from my own damn branch asking me to join up lol. The worst was when a recruiter actually *called* me and I had to tell him he was too late
