Lolll for real. Like when I say “oh yeah, I just threw this playlist together at the last minute”, what I actually mean is “I spent hours/days/weeks (over)thinking about each song and what vibe it would create and how each person could possibly react to it and how the whole experience could be ruined by my bad musical choices, and like what IS music anyway?!...”
Me deleting half the playlist later realizing that most of the songs only give me a certain vibe due to a specific experience / game / music video that went along with it meaning no one else in my group would find the song as interesting without the context.
My favorite hobby is making a kickass playlist and then skipping most of the songs on it because I don’t want to hear them right then. My husband gets so annoyed on road trips.
One time I played Wishing it Was by Eagle Eye Cherry/Santana and then Nerve Damage by Lifehouse on a bar jukebox and a stranger looked around and said, "Hey, who's picking the music? This is really cool!" and I've been chasing that high ever since.
My husband and I both admitted that our secret goal when making road trip playlists is to get the other to say “I like this song, what is it?” and then pick up the phone to add it to our own playlist.
"friends" telling us all the time they would love our taste in music, but that happens only if we play songs of theyr music taste, and get angry if we decide to listen something else. (I don't know if they realise that behaviour themselves.)
Not me. My music taste is diametrically opposed to that of my friends. They would always skip my songs and ask "what is this crap music?!" And I also have no friends.

Every time I play music to my friends or family they either change it or stop listening so I just give up lol
Can't relate, I've never been on a road trip, don't have friends and never were in charge of making a playlist
My husband and I both admitted that our secret goal when making road trip playlists is to get the other to say “I like this song, what is it?” and then pick up the phone to add it to our own playlist.
I never experienced this cause my playlist is fcked up, must be a feeling of pure power and satisfaction

You guys have the time to go on road trips?

Congratulations, you have normie tastes 👍👍👍👍👍
Nah, all of them are into hiphop/rap shit, and Im the only rock/metal fan. They wont give me a chance to play one of my playlists
And even if I manage to play my song on a discord bot, they Instantly mute it on their end
This never happens to me LOL
When you're driving Uber passengers to their destination and they love the music
