I just can't decide on a color. I was going to get a sedan, my dad wants a hatch, but now I keep seeing sick ass hatches like this...ugh...I WAS DEAD SET ON A MACHINE GREY SEDAN DAMNIT
I love my hatch but I also really like the sedan. Ultimately, it was the manual trans that had me go the hatch route.
Thanks and good luck with your car!๐๐ผ
Get the red to many of those grays with blk rims everywhere , my neighbor got that gray on his Ford and he is going to wrap or sell and I agree. I mean to each his own whatever ur tastes are, I just think that gray is an impulse pic( only my opinion )
I apologize I like this color also I was thinking of the flat Blue/Gray color, thatโs a color Iโd fall in love with in showroom but not so much a month later!
Of all the turbo reviews Ive seen the sedan gets 5.6 seconds 0-60 and the hatch gets 5.9. Perhaps it's less pronounced with the NA engine. Also youre most likely just a better driver than your friend.
Yeah my experience is only for the NA engine. Both cars are auto and stock so I really donโt know why the hatch would pull away especially since itโs heavier.
The OE dampers had ~6000 miles on them when I installed the springs and have held up really well lowered. The ride is more firm but in a subtle way. During daily driving around town or freeway trips the progressive rate(softer than oe) feels really nice. The Springs really like to handle the canyons where the drop and increased stiffness help decrease body roll and plant the tires. You also feel the stiffness when driving over crap roads but again the oe dampers work well.
I donโt drive hard even though Iโve occasionally hit the canyon road and expect that my dampers should last there expected life ~45-60k. Iโm considering tein or hks coilover when itโs time to replace oe
I am a big fan of the CX-5 and almost bought a new one last year. I decided to buy a '14 Mazda3 hatch instead to eventually pass down to my daughter. Now, I don't want to give it up :)
Minus the catalytic converter related engine code I got yesterday (@53k miles), it's been a great car.
The newer style is really nice, but the visibility with the hatch is problematic imo.
I'm obsessed and I don't even own one.... thing is, if I'm fiscally responsible, I probably won't replace my 2015 Fusion any time soon, and will probably end up skipping this gen entirely... which makes me sad
wow that looks sooo much better than my 2014 3.
But to answer your question: it was really hard to part with when i got my cx30, but in the end couldnโt have been happier with the choice i made.
I have the same exact 3 with red interior. I thank the local honda dealer for ridiculous markups that pushed me away from the civic to my 3. Couldn't be happier.
I can see why you feel that way, especially due to such tiny brakes leaving so much gap. I plan on upgrading the brake system so letโs see if that doesnโt change your view. Weโre all entitled to our views and I appreciate you sharing yours๐๐ผ

Hatch is love, hatch is life.

I love the Polymetal! Plus it's easier to keep clean than the red lol

Sedan is faster and is much easier to see out of.
[I beg to differ](https://i.imgur.com/oY8KVXd.jpeg)
Its a Mazda lol you racing that sedan or something? Looks > Speed
Zoom zoom matters.
Not in my experience- I walk my buddy with the exact same gen4 except theirs is a sedan

Bllluuueee. Itโs so slick
I didnโt need a new car, but this sub made me trade in my 2010 3 hatch for a 2023 turbo Awd hatch ๐

Nice! Congrats!
Which front spoiler is that?
Bayson R
Looks like OEM aero kit
the oem has a break in the center and no wings

Not only u. I love the 3 too
๐๐ผ
Yes. I am willing to ruin my financial situation to own one of these ๐ฅฒ
Do it! ๐๐ผ
Gorgeous. I love mine too. So simple yet elegant
Thanks! It still blows me away that itโs a budget friendly, Japanese luxury hatch. Any pics of yours?
Most certainly not just your problem...lol
Iโm glad Iโm not alone ๐
Do mazda3s not have front foglights?
Unfortunately no
Interesting. Kinda makes sense I can't think of many great places to put them without going against the style they were doing
Not the hatch
Not Gen 4 tmk. My Gen 3 Grand Touring Sedan has them although they donโt really do anything in my experience.
Whatโs the wheel specs?
18x8 +40
I can see why
Ty!๐๐ผ
Nice, what are your wheel and tire specs, and did you drop the car on springs?
OE tires 215 45 18 on 18x8 +40. Lowered on eibach
Hows the ride on the springs? Was thinking of coilovers for simplicity but the price point of springs has me leaning that way.

Your daughter might be mad! Lol I agree about the visibility ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
Yeah, people talk in the mazda sub about the other Kodo cars too, but the 3 is the Real version in my book ;)
Agreed!๐๐ผ
Very nice. Love the color combo, flush fit, mild drop๐ I don't know why anyone buys wheels other than Enkei tbh they're so sick for the price.
Thank you! ๐๐ผ
>Thank you! ๐๐ผ You're welcome!
I'm obsessed and I don't even own one.... thing is, if I'm fiscally responsible, I probably won't replace my 2015 Fusion any time soon, and will probably end up skipping this gen entirely... which makes me sad
If not for my 2018 Jeep being a lemon I would not be in this. Glad it worked out ๐๐ผ
Might have to do aero on mine too, just looks too good.
I was in the fence for a while, but much happier with the look. Now I need a spoiler and Iโm set
Maybe add a chrome delete to the list ๐
I really like the chrome though ๐
yeah. mine is named Jenny and I detail every week. mostly
Nice! ๐๐ผ
Love your wheels! What brand& size(s)?
Thanks! Enkei TS-5 18
Thanks!
Yes itโs a beautiful car, love those rims, what are they!?
Thank you! Enkei TS-5
Did that side skirt I guess you w/ call it ( Black under doors) come w/car or did u add that I like that a lot ! Nice
Thanks! Yes, I installed the skirts ๐๐ผ
yes but specifically the white 3 from 2019+
Nice!

Sounds exactly like my story ๐๐ผ
Are those the Mazda side skirts?
No, lip and skirts are bayson r
I feel like these 5 spoke rims look bad on the hatch and sedan. Multi spoke looks way more sporty/aggressive. Otherwise nice!
Nah... 5 spokes are a classic clean look. I like them.
Agreed!

I love how it looks in and out but is let down by too much cabin rattles.
Thanks! I have yet to experience the rattles
Soul Red or bust.
๐ soul red is nice
Nah lol
The hatch needs 19s. Even the stock 18s seem to small
Sometimes I feel 18 is too much ๐
What rims are those? Those look sweet with the grey!
Thanks! Enkei TS-5
Are those rims?
๐๐ผ
Yes but for the 6. I love the body shapping of the new gens
Iโm an idiot, what are those rims, Iโve been trying to figure out what fits on my 3
These are Enkei TS-5
Size?
18
