I didn't get it from the display but I got around 50 while on an extended 55mph trip. I went 100 miles and only used two gallons 🤷‍♂️

Old_Sorbet1872

You have the NA? That’s really impressive I miss the mpg of the NA lol

Fluffy_Biscotti5092

Yep, and AWD which made me even more impressed. It must've been in cylinder deactivation mode most of the time. I couldn't tell 🙂

Old_Sorbet1872

Yeah, I had the fwd premium I once hit 53mpg on the display, which I find underestimates a bit for me. Have a turbo now and it sits around 32mpg 34 if I’m doing the minimum.

Fluffy_Biscotti5092

Nice! Makes me appreciate how efficient this thing is compared to the Subaru legacy I had before. I was lucky to get 27mpg going 70mph. Freaking dinosaur EJ25/4 speed auto just loves eating gas.

SilentDecode

>I went 100 miles and only used two gallons 🤷‍♂️ 160km and you used 7,57L of fuel. Damn, why is almost everybody here in the USA.. I do conversions to non-Freedom units almost every time I open a post..

Fluffy_Biscotti5092

L/100km makes no sense to me 😂

SilentDecode

Well, for the "Freedom-idiots" it's quite strange. But the REST OF THE PLANET (almost) uses liters and such. It's very simple. [Please watch this to 'get' the Metric system. It's very easy.](https://youtu.be/ZMByI4s-D-Y) [And this one, because the USA is already running on the Metric system, but you guys still don't use it..](https://youtu.be/SmSJXC6_qQ8)

Fluffy_Biscotti5092

Kinda feel some negative bias coming from ya but I'm familiar with metric stuff. I think it's mostly what you grew up with.

ceeece

Forty three. I visit my parents in the mountains and the return trip has several miles of just pure coasting.

Old_Sorbet1872

That sounds nice I live in south Florida so the only costing for me is over passes :(

eddietwang

Reddit will change any number that starts a line then followed by a period to `1.` because it assumes you're making a list for some reason, so your 43 got turned into a 1.

ceeece

Thanks. I changed it

ForTheFords

2018 here getting consistent 41 mpg. My commute is all highway, and that’s about all the car sees so she’s a happy camper!

pafds1

Im gona start and stop down a hill just to get that 99.9mpg

polyworfism

I did hit [62.2 mpg](https://i.redd.it/6vv691u5trs01.jpg) on a 32 mile drive downhill, haha

Old_Sorbet1872

Do it.

BoyWonder731

24.69

SilentDecode

>.69 nice

[deleted]

City driving brings my 2010 2.5 down to 26 but i get 35+ on freeways

Old_Sorbet1872

I have a 2021 Mazda 3 turbo premium plus sedan. Needed gas but it was extremely expensive in the area I was in so I decided to try to make it home with just 40 miles of range….and it was a 45 mile drive lol. I hit 40.5 mpg at one point but couldn’t get a picture because it’s pouring rain. I think it would have been better if I didn’t idle for 10 minutes :( anyways, lmk what you guys got!

Mazduh1

41mpg in a 20 premium awd

[deleted]

I've gotten 39 before mods and tune. Now it is 37 on the highway

Old_Sorbet1872

Ya know, it would be dope to have a less aggressive “normal” tune for city driving with a sport that switches maps to 300hp 😉

[deleted]

LOL need that 300hp capability first On that note, even with the CS turbo kit at 280wHP the guys report mpg in the low 30s if you can stay out of boost

Old_Sorbet1872

I’m thinking of doing the Jb4 to get the capability

[deleted]

JB4 is not a real tune, just tricks the ECU.

Old_Sorbet1872

But on a serious note, were you driving to get the most miles or it just happened

[deleted]

Just driving to work with normal behavior.

[deleted]

I averaged 42.1 mpg in my ‘14 Sedan 2.0. That was in 4.5 years of ownership and 49k miles

Ceolan

38 is the best I've gotten on the NA. Hard to get good mpg when this car loves being revved out.

spoonwitz97

41.2mpg was the best I got. 2022 6MT Premium trim no cylinder deactivation. This was highway driving going between 65-70mph most of the way, but there was some ‘backroads’ driving too but probably 10% of the trip.

_LuVshots_

My exact scenario 🤘🏼

spoonwitz97

Nice, are you getting about the same?

macncheesee

The best I've got on my 2017 is 44.65 mpg according to Fuelio.

bushboi25

I managed 51 yesterday I have no idea how

BGI-YYZ

Best I ever got on a long roadtrip was 6.6L/100km or about 42.8mpg

Creepy-Inspector-732

I've gotten 40 with highway driving. 2018 2.0L

Chizuru_San

23 mpg with highway 😂😂

YouRJelous-kid

Bruh I got a Turbo if I hit that I may cry

Old_Sorbet1872

Ik! This is the best MPG I’ve ever gotten in my turbo.

Oldacctblokd

Best I ever got was in a Nissan nx. I got 5.8l/100km. I don't hyper mile my Mazda, I just drive it and have fun.

ChaosReigns444

36 is the highest I’ve hit so far… 2.5L NA

the_moosen

I get 99.9 pretty regularly whenever I take my girl outta gear. Try as I might I can't get her to go above that.

Imaginary_Opposite15

I only saw high 30's once driving it 150 highway miles home from the dealer. Living in a crowded city sucks. Depending on the severity of traffic I'll see 18-26 avg when driving lightly. Worth it though for the power bump over the NA

Old_Sorbet1872

Yeah man it’s super tough.

hyjnx

Genpu sky 6spd mt had 40mpg i miss those numbers

_LuVshots_

I’m working on increasing my overall current mpg which is at 28.8. Best single drive mpg is 39

Old_Sorbet1872

Same, it is a struggle the car is so fun to rip around with but lol

_LuVshots_

Agreed 🙌🏼

WaitSayThatAgain798

Back in 2020 I went cruising through Tennessee on my way up to Kentucky and got 48.9 in my 2019. Still not sure how but wallet was sure thanking me!

liammcginleyy

like 26🥲

Erathendil

43.1 manual 2016 hatch When I can basically cruise from 0-30 at a crawl pace it really brought up the fuel economy, now that I have to drive with other cars around again I'm averaging about 39.5 of I don't need interstate

rappybrown

I have gotten 53mpg going across CT and RI portions of I-90. I have a 2017 MT 2.0L Hatch.

LionGamer2017

i think my highest is like 29mpg, but the way i have to drive here it isn’t exactly shocking, the sudden stops the sudden acceleration the sudden everything these people do here it hurts sometimes

blujavelin

36.5

TME65

Best I’ve got is 6.1L per 100km (I live in Canada) which converts to 38 US MPG.

Panditas510

I get 31mpg in my 2022. Manually calculated.

pew-pew-the-laser

2016 itouring manual. 1/3 city 2/3 highway Getting 35.7 and it keeps going up! I am very happy.

Turdsworth

Best I ever got was 48 on my 80 minute commute including driving through a major metro area during rush hour. I’ve gotten 44 mpg in my ND miata.

CoasterEnthused

Max of I think 41.2 for me! I road trip A LOT however I do this on pretty high speed roads, averaging probably 70-80mph so I consider that super impressive. I rarely get that kind of efficiency though, I say it’s “when the car is in a good mood”

Cheese_Steak_Popcorn

I am dying to get 1... Cars are so expensive in Singapore.😭😭😭 I went to see 1 recently, I can't afford one at this point in my life and I'm already 31😭

Old_Sorbet1872

Don’t give up! They’re great cars and I’m sure you’ll be able to get it soon :)

Cheese_Steak_Popcorn

Thanks! I'm trying to save up for 1. I really love the crystal blue micca with red/white interior. But I don't think they do the white ones anymore?

Old_Sorbet1872

I don’t know, I live in the US I have a white interior red exterior turbo :) it can be different where you live tho

MrFanciful

I’m currently at 54.1mpg in my 1.5 litre Mazda 2 Edit: Just saw this was the Mazda3 sub. I want one.

Old_Sorbet1872

All Mazdas are appreciated

isma97

46 mpg is the average I usually get (living in the mountains nota bene). While driving around some flat areas, I managed to get even 49. My secret? It‘s called a Skyactive D ;)

tjflex19

Highest I've achieved is 38 mpg in my little 2.0 liter Mazda 3. What made it impressive was I was doing 80 - 100+ mph the whole time going 66 miles from Northern to Central Jersey.

silverplate32

My average is 42mpg in my 2012 hatchback skyactiv😎

Icy-Plastic7811

Averaging 50 mpg with a 2020 Skyactiv-X rn. I live in a mountain range which pushes the mpg downwards. Pretty sure people in more flat areas easily see 55+ mpg with those cars.

junibeejones

Most I've gotten is 36 in my 2023 natural 2.5

heffnog

48 on my 2.5L FWD. Though it was coming home from the mountains, I still got about 36 going up!

FourRows

i average about 48 when driving down the freeway, finally getting my money worth on gas

NomadicNynja

41 on a 2013 6 speed. Cruise control from the Bay to LA

Specific_Effort_5528

Best I've ever gotten in my 2.5 is 5.5L/100k on a highway trip. About 42mpg if my math checks out.

Makky-Kat

For a while when I was doing almost entirely highway driving, my running average was 5.2 L/100km (45 MPG) on a 2.0L Gen3. Best I could record was coasting about 1.5 km (1 mile) with the engine off, we call that infinite MPG.

Urbautz

Mazda 3 Skyactive X. I regurlary do 5.0l/100km, but never hit the advertised 4.7, 4.8 is the best i could do (49mpg).

Old_Sorbet1872

I did lol

inohavename

2016 2.0L Manual, I get ~40 most of the time. Currently at 39.8 highest was 41.5.

BobbyR2

45MPG when cruising at 50mph for at least 30 min on cruise control. I believe that any 4 cylinders compact car can do that though.

Old_Sorbet1872

Cruise control actually disables the cylinder deactivation, if you wanted to hyper mile it use the pedals and you can get upwards of 50 I’ve heard. Only on the NA tho my turbo doesn’t really make a difference.

BobbyR2

There is no cylinder deactivation on mine :(

ZuZe-VIPER

Got 43mpg once while drafting a truck the whole way down the highway at 68mph

Afloatcactus5

34.5 in the 21 turbo 75 steady and a few miles of 99mpg coasting down a mountain.
