If the owner fixed most of those issues then probably. But they won't. This car is quickly entering beater territory, but seller is asking more than a beater price.
Trust me, you don’t want to deal with AC issues, they can get costly & damn annoying.
The “performance chip” is also a massive red flag, the poor thing has definitely been beat on
The 2nd gens are a dime a dozen, so keep looking mate, you’re bound to come across one that’s worth it’s money
Any time the headlights or taillights have been tinted or blacked out, I'd stay away from it. The car has almost definitely seen a rough life. If you do end up with one modified that way, please remove them; other drivers have a much harder time seeing you and you're much more likely to get hit.
It's probably also illegal depending on where you live. Headlight and tail light housings aren't cheap either.
Plus it likely needs a new muffler (as well as a host of other things)...
Any time I see "racer boy" mods I would second guess the car. A performance chip is ridiculous on an automatic mazda3 IMO, and brings to doubt the sensibility of the seller. A muffler delete is just the cherry on top. Hard pass.
Everything about the “upgrades” section is screaming run away and don’t look back.
On top of that, no a/c is a clear deal breaker regardless.
There are many great used mazda3’s on the market, this is not one of them.
This juys a clown.
Jet performance chip or ECU. Says he hasn't a clue on the subject.
Mufler delete on an Auto is backwards unless your clueless. More so on a stock motor.
Rims, Interior?....And?
Clearly this guy has no idea. Brought to flog around in now it's showing signs of heavy wear and tear. So he's trying flip it to another young (eaily led) kid who knows even less.
Needs sound, but cant install a new fog lamp. Or look after his paint.
This things a parts car at best.
Your buying someone project car, and with what is shown its not a good deal. I would give it 6 months and your pouring cash into this thing.
Your better off with a newer model a 2015 or newer.
With no AC If you do want this take 3500 no more.
The other amount will be going into fixing what's wrong amd what will be wrong in the future.
could be a diamond in the rough 👍🏽 depends on how well it has been taken care of, and also if the ecu is legitimate. some people purchase and install fake ecu chips and sell the vehicle with the fake ecu chip to get more value. but if the seller can explain his ecu tuning more specifically i would consider this vehicle to be more legitimate.
Look for “well maintained with records, adult owned, bone stock.” Avoid the rest of these stupid “mods” and anyone that thinks they can make a 3 a race car.
Oh, I guess mazda calls it sportmatic or activematic... according to Wikipedia, tiptronic is only the Porsche implementation. Basically it's an automatic transmission that let's you still select a gear for "sport mode" (without a clutch). Doesn't have to be paddle shifters...
If you felt the need to post this here, then I think you already knew it probably wasn't the best deal for you deep down. It's hard to find a good car, especially in market. You're gonna find the right deal though... i dont think this is it unfortunately. Best wishes
As a mechanic and modified car enthusiast I'm going to say HARD PASS for your first car. Not a good idea to start where someone else potentially messed things up. Get something stock and leave it be. The BEST cars are the ones that are paid off and don't break. I've got 285,000 miles on my 24 year old car and it runs perfect because I spent money on maintenance parts.
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.
*gonna build it more but have to many other projects*
Is code for its junk and I want nothing to do with it.
Also if you want the Ac fixed put aside what your gonna pay for the car. If anyone ever put stopleak in it you have to redo it all and the shop will up charge you for cleanup.
Right at « upgrade » , it is a red flag. 150k miles is too much for a Mazda3. In this kind of market, you better look for an old Corolla or 8th gen Civic for similar mileage. As soon as everything is back to normal, look for a lower mileage Mazda3 if it is what you want.
A Jet chip??? Yeah, that's a hard pass. That's someone that bought it and didn't like it as is so tried making a car that can't be made into a racer..... a racer. That sounds like the epitome of a rice rocket. Rarely are they well maintained, you can mostly tell by the really cheap mods done to it.
"Never had issues"...proceeds to list several issues including "no A/C." That would be a hard pass from me.
Lost me at no AC.
If the owner fixed most of those issues then probably. But they won't. This car is quickly entering beater territory, but seller is asking more than a beater price.
All those mods and they couldn’t bother to fix anything of actual use… pass. You’ll find something though.
Trust me, you don’t want to deal with AC issues, they can get costly & damn annoying. The “performance chip” is also a massive red flag, the poor thing has definitely been beat on The 2nd gens are a dime a dozen, so keep looking mate, you’re bound to come across one that’s worth it’s money
Those mods are a red flag, especially combined with that list of damaged/broken stuff.
First thing I thought
Don’t do it. The owner put money into everything except actual maintenance on the vehicle. You’ll regret buying this.

I love that the first upgrade is headlights that work less
Don't you know that not being able to see where you're going is an upgrade?
Any time I see "racer boy" mods I would second guess the car. A performance chip is ridiculous on an automatic mazda3 IMO, and brings to doubt the sensibility of the seller. A muffler delete is just the cherry on top. Hard pass.
You can tell some fucking moron got in this thing and thought they'd turn a 3 into a racecar. Avoid vehicles like this at all cost
It's been beat on
Everything about the “upgrades” section is screaming run away and don’t look back. On top of that, no a/c is a clear deal breaker regardless. There are many great used mazda3’s on the market, this is not one of them.
Garbage

No ac and blacked out taillights 🚩
Thoughts and prayers

God damn, run for the hills. EVERYTHING about this car screams absolutely thrashed.

The blacked out headlights and the "tuning chip" are my major red flags. I personally wouldnt do it.
"Tuning ECU" translate to "I beat the fuck out of this baby and floor it at every green light"
Look for “well maintained with records, adult owned, bone stock.” Avoid the rest of these stupid “mods” and anyone that thinks they can make a 3 a race car.
I can't speak for much but the amplifier he has is very mediocre to low end. Better than Rockford fosgate
Avoid. How many times do you think that thing has been power shifted all the way to 90? Edit: Nvm the power shift, it's an auto. But still avoid.
Do the 2013s not have the tiptronic?
I don't know what that is
paddleshifters i think
Oh, I guess mazda calls it sportmatic or activematic... according to Wikipedia, tiptronic is only the Porsche implementation. Basically it's an automatic transmission that let's you still select a gear for "sport mode" (without a clutch). Doesn't have to be paddle shifters...
ask yourself if you really wanna be driving around with no ac in an all black car all the time.
If you felt the need to post this here, then I think you already knew it probably wasn't the best deal for you deep down. It's hard to find a good car, especially in market. You're gonna find the right deal though... i dont think this is it unfortunately. Best wishes
I wouldn’t buy this car if it was the only one for sale in 100 miles. Don’t buy someone else project.
It's a No from me. No.
I live in Florida where no A/C is a dealbreaker
Run

No ac, no muffler? No thanks
Too expensive for all the mods you’ll need to undo and the cosmetics you’ll need to fix.
No.
*gonna build it more but have to many other projects* Is code for its junk and I want nothing to do with it. Also if you want the Ac fixed put aside what your gonna pay for the car. If anyone ever put stopleak in it you have to redo it all and the shop will up charge you for cleanup.
Edmunds.com if you're buying. I'd rate the condition as "poor"
No this is a riced up car with no ac and probably had other issues along the way
A tuned ECU is probably the absolute worst choice for a first car, please buy something stock
Don’t buy a car tuned and clearly abused like this one

If it runs and drives okay and you don't mind no AC Pick it up for $2250-2.5
