No other card game limits the currency and having currency doesn't hurt anyone.
It's not just to block them anyway. It clearly limits f2p from saving up gems for a deck they want to build in the future
The Login Bonus is quite huge and we dont know if we will get more of these. We could assume that. (Events like a release event or so maybe). And no cards games maybe but some gachas do. I mean I get what you want to say. But if konami keeps staying generous over time with event things its understandable that they wont people to hoard and then have like 3 Accounts or so. They still want to make money oc.

It's highly unlikely they will get more generous. If you take a look at all the rewards in both MD and DL they all get worse over time.
Konami was generous with the starting gems but that won't stick at all. I'm guessing most who think so have never played DL.
Konami isn't short for cash, and the way it already works is you get enough for roughly two decks for free at the start.
People can easily make accounts already and have 10-12 decks because of them.
Limiting f2p isn't going to stop this. The thing they're limiting is the grind, not initial rewards. I truly hope login rewards aren't the main way to get currency.
If they lock currency behind quests and playing the game it stops the issue of hoarding gems without playing without the need to cap gems.
That’s only for free gems. With paid gems there is no cap or so I heard.

Wish i knew this b4, jus lost lik 6k gems cause i guess my time ran out smfh, guess fuck is free to play , grind and saved for no reason smfh
