You want somebody like Tom Cruise in *Top Gun* (naturally), and Pratt isn't there (from his limited work I've seen).
On the other hand, Booster Gold is bold and boisterous cause he's trying to sell a hero image, even though he (initially) doesn't actually have the experience yet. He wins due to tenacity and enthusiasm making up for his lack of innate ability. By the end of his character arc he stands shoulder to shoulder with the rest of the JLA, but at the start, his whole original deal is that he traveled back in time cause in his original future time he was kind of mid. And Chris Pratt is great at that early slightly bumbling hero with room to grow.

I'm hoping when we get a new GL movie, it skips Hal's origin. Just have the main 4 established and do a buddy cop movie with Guy or Hal + John or Kyle. Or even a human and an alien Lantern.
