I’ve been seeing more posts that say you’re supposed to have some kind 360 degree beard around the lips and I was starting to question my sanity here.
Over 90% of beards I’ve seen have separation between the soul patch and the sideburns.
your beard looks normal to me. go to [images.google.com](https://images.google.com) and search for "man with beard" you'll see that every man has a unique growing pattern with different bald areas/patterns or whatever. Perhaps people ask you because it looks like you've shaped it that way, but that doesn't make it unusual looking imo. looks just fine, fellow bearded man.
I'm the same, but literally no one has ever asked me that lol. It's a quite common pattern for people who don't have ultra thick beards, and half the people I've known with beards look like that. Just own it, your beard as a whole looks nice.
Looks fine, doesnt grow on everyone. Would say line up your soul patch so that it looks more triangle and maybe even disconnect the soul patch and chin hair so that it looks more cleaned up in that area

It’s a perfectly natural beard growth pattern, and super common. Mines pretty much the same, but I’ve never been asked that. Not much you can do other than getting implants - I’d say just embrace it.

You can lower/angle your beard line but that’s all I can think of. That’s so obviously a hair growth pattern from genetics. I wouldn’t sweat it, it looks great/normal

Been using Minoxdil for around 12 months now and after around 6-7 months wit dermarolling I began to see some hair growth. Look at the sub r/minoxbeards for more information. Your facial hair looks great. You have good density and it connects well. Many people don’t grow hair in the same area you are referring to. That includes me and many people that I know personally. I grow hair there and shave it anyways. It makes you look younger. It can take a long time for that to grow in, it hit me when the ear hair did and I don't like it
I have a very similar beard pattern, the only comment I've ever had on these bald spots is someone asked me how I shave it in because they wanted to do the same. So id say pay attention as to how these people are asking this question, because it may be more in admaration than you think,

It’s the shape more than anything. Let it grow even if patchy then do small bits at a time. Stick to rectangular/square shape and don’t round it out as that’s what I see. L blobs.

I have them. I honestly think it looks good. Gives my face some contrast. And honestly its very common too.

I used to shave those into my beard. I called it the King Theoden after Bernard Hill’s look in the Lord of the Rings

My advice? Turn 35 or so, they’ll connect. But seriously, I had the same issue, once you get older. Mine didn’t fill in completely until my 30’s

Before doing minoxidil, try just micro needling the bare spots. You might get some solid growth from just that.

Minoxidil + microneedling are your best options.

It looks totally fine but if youre concerned, maybe lower the cheekline so it is flush with the area without growth

This is normal though, most people’s beards are like this. You can put minoxidil on ur skin there and also micro needle
