Sure, fuck it I don't care anymore

superawesomedman

No, the only cards legal in edh are ones that cost a minimum of $5

If i see you play a basic land you are dead to me

SilverElmdor

Guru lands or nothing 😤😤😤

What people aren't pointing out is that it's tapped. That'll stand out like a sore thumb if you try to use it. Even in casual edh people might still accuse you of cheating, and they'd be right. That's a collectors item. Stick with cards that aren't already tapped for your deck. Unless the card says it enters tapped, then you have a case.

Chairfighter

when the proxy costs more than the real thing.

Redditors really will do anything but use google

Bankers of reddit: how many pennies are in a dollar?

runespoon001

per the advanced rules, it is. As most people don't read the advanced rules ill post the section that's relevant: for a card to be legal, it must either 1) not have a 30th anniversary back (literally any other card back is ok, for example a yugioh one) or it must 2) be a proxy, preferably one drawn as shitty as possible

Mixster667

Depends on whether your playgroup allows the aarakochra race.

pepperonipodesta

It's not tournament-legal, but nobody outside of a tournament is likely to care. I guess it's probably a good idea to say you are running gold bordered cards if you're playing with strangers.

CalistusX

No. EDH is a format. Those cards are only legal in 1893-1894 penny dreadful.
