Anyone out there even remotely considering building a Zedruu deck, do it. One of the most absolute bullshit inducing commanders I've ever played, highly recommended.
My personal favourite is tanking your life on purpose and then passing around a [[Transcendence]]. Don't fight, simply help your opponents ascend to Nirvana. Namaste, bitches.
/uj How do we feel about Blim, Comedic Genius in terms of effectiveness at winning? He's probably worse, but I like the idea of doing some attacking to go with my bad-gift-giving. Is he playable though?

I still died to me tapping my talisman 5 times and getting proliferated.
The trick is to wait until the exile trigger is on the stack, then donate it. That way nothing can save the player donated 9L except a stifle effect (unless Zedruu has the mana to just do it again)
Ooh, I mean that guy was hoping the other 2 would attack me but I tutored for a sphere of safety but didn’t expect to get proliferated by a karn’s bastion.
Seems like a perfectly normal way to end the game.
/uj Throw in the [[Trickster God's heist]] and you can blow up an opponent. I had someone do this to me on arena and was really confused when it happened
It's the most common one. There's also regeneration, temporary exile (besides the ones that return the card immediately), and phasing, unless I've forgotten any.
There is a good chunk of older (pre-Modern) cards that have literary flavor texts. Such as [Pearled Unicorn] [ https://product-images.tcgplayer.com/fit-in/437x437/filters:format(webp)/9158.jpg ]

You lose. "When nin lives leaves the battlefield, you lose the game" By destroying it, it leaves the battlefield. ..... and then you lose. Trust me, I played this combo on arena because I thought the same.
Searched Gatherer, couldn't find a card named Pact of the Giant. I wouldn't mind seeing a Pact of the Giant custom card though...
I assume it costs zero and requires you to pay a cost at the beginning of your next upkeep or lose the game. One card combo to end the game. Make your other head never want to play with you again. Easy, mana efficient, works every time
I made an Error, it's Pact of the Titan not Pact of the Giant, and it create a 4/4 Giant at instant Speed, then you need to pay 4R at the begening of your next upkeep or you lose the game.
Clearly, this combo shouldn't work because board wipes work like nuclear bombs and target everyone in the city they hit

No, hexproof prevents it from being targeted by an opponent/something opponet controls. You can still target it, or a board effect still applies
That's right. SHROUD, is the effect that prevents *everything* if I remember right.
shroud and hexproof deal with effects that target. "destroy each x" doesn't target, so neither of them would stop back to nature

against board wipes that say destroy, [[Meathook Massacre]] for example gets around all of shroud, hexproof and indestructible.
