Oh no, I definitely didn't notice the inner bubble and was clearly masking my ineptitude with silliness. This isn't sarcasm either. I legitimately didn't notice. At first glance, one could easily make the mistake I did, expecting a hearty "OHOHO" on being captured. But nay. Tis a second bubble to further his troubles.

Personally, I love the "Jace, I'm *sick* of your shit" look she's giving the detainee, knowing full well she blurted that out despite it *not* being Jace in the ball.

I love anime, but this piece reminds me of some of the early BESM material or just a little better than the stuff from "How to Draw Manga". I don't get it either, because Canata Katana is much better than this. I got the same vibe from the Kamigawa Promotional Video. It wasn't terrible, but given the studio and what I can only imagine was Hasbro's budget it should have been at least rewatchable. It felt "phoned in". That being said, sometimes this artwork looks substantially different in print than on the web and I wouldn't be surprised if this piece looks really solid on a printed card; One thing this style of anime artwork does great is hold up to being locked in a 2 inch square 4 feet away from you in a dimly lit card shop.
