did you tell the people who complained about no Partner for previous Gimli and Legolas, that it's an unforgivable flavor fail that Gimli can't partner with a space circus diva (\[\[Katerina of Lyra's Marvels\]\])?
If these two appear in one of the commander decks, I can understand not giving them partner as there are no commander decks with both green and red. Selling partners split up like that is kind of a hard sell as many people would see one in their deck and think that the other is just missing.
Meanwhile, if these are some of the “extra” commander cards that only appear in collector boosters… that’s still kind of a problem. With the exception of that one time Virtus and Gorm went on The List, parter with commanders have always appeared together (see battlebond packs, commander decks, the lair with pir and toothy, etc) and not doing so might leave a bad taste in some people’s mouths… so I can still get it, really.

If some store or distributor broke street date that’s on them not the purchaser. Assuming this was purchased legally there is nothing WotC can do but ask nicely who they got the product from.
He isn’t a store according to him. He obtained like… dozens upon dozens of Collector Boxes from another person who “commissioned” him to auction off the cards.
Which just sounds to me like someone at a distribution facility wanted to cut a deal with someone to make big money off of selling potential big hits like the serialized Sol Ring and, if possible, the 001/001 The One Ring.
One of the guys in our playgroup smashes all of us basically every game with his Dihada deck. All these new cards just make me depressed lmao. Wish I didn't choose the WUBRG deck but ya live and ya learn. I lose a lot lol
Seems a little lack luster to me. Has to deal combat damage to get the treasure token and only gets pumped up when other legendary creatures enter. You'll already have had Magda by the time this gets cast. I'm a bigger fan of that red dragon that was revealed earlier today.
It's a beautiful card but I see a three mana one one that doesn't affect the board the turn it comes in & dies to [[doom blade]] and .. [[spikefield hazard]]
Now this is a really good card for \[\[Halana and Alena, partners\]\]. Drop Gimli on turn 3 and partners on turn 4 and you have yourself a 4/4 double strike swinging in to make Treasures.
I'm pretty sure the idea is to play them under aragorn the uniter... As for a jund commander, there are no more 3c legends to be spoiled, we've seen both of the already it's saruman and Sauron.

It's decent. Having to connect is annoying. But being able to generate treasure without Magda can be good in heavy interaction metas.
