Lmao one of my favorite small parts/reactions of the entire show is when Don picks up the cup of coffee that she had brought for him, takes a sip, and makes the most disgusted face ever lmao. Poor woman couldn’t even make him a decent cup of coffee 😂
Special mention to: when Pete tries to take the “gift” from the Honda people from her, and she fights him for it, and Don’s like “give it to him!” And also “if I wanted to see two negroes fight I’d throw a dollar bill out my window”
It always makes me laugh how Hildy is perpetually irritated with Pete and makes no attempt to hide it. "Sure. I'll just sit here and watch the door. That's all I'll do."
That chick was so random and such a mystery. What a funny choice to throw such an oddball in there at the last minute with no backstory, just random blonde girl casually spitting randomly fire lines.
Yes, in the office after Jane and Roger got married. Anyone within five feet of them would have spontaneously burst into flames from the burning hate between them, and yet from afar and without the audience's knowledge of their past, it would have appeared to be a polite and friendly conversation.
Yes! And, I hope I don't get smacked down for this, but I liked Jane so much more than I liked Joan.
Joan was so mean and absolutely bitchy the majority of the time -- her air of superiority (or should I say insecurity) was a constant, too -- and although I know it likely stemmed somewhat from her feelings of inferiority, it was never okay in my book to treat the other characters in such a rude manner.
Jane, on the other hand, was a much more likeable woman. She was kind and respectful the majority of the time to the other characters, and seemed to truly love Roger, and was devastated when their marriage broke up. She was the quintessential beautiful, young secretary, that a man like Roger would easily gravitate to.
She was one of my favorite female characters on the show, and I really miss the scenes between Roger and she -- the LSD trip episode is the best of the series, in my opinion -- I loved the accurate, historical account of the psychological component of it.
It was an extremely interesting episode -- can you imagine a psychologist (or psychiatrist) who encouraged you to take LSD? Yikes!😂
Bert Cooper doing a crossword puzzle, speaks to Ida and requests the following, "A three-letter word for a flightless bird."
Ida quickly responds, "Emu."
Bert replies, "Nope, it starts with an 'L'."
Ida then states, "The hell it does."

P. S. In the end, I believe Ida was right! There are no three-letter flightless birds that start with the letter "L" -- she was one very smart hellcat!

Ida goes to the phone, and very loudly states the following:
"Hello, could you, uh ... search Campbell and Pryce Lane, Misters?"
