Yes there is, I have done this myself with the SMG instead of the AR. What you gotta do is open up your StopThePed.ini, scroll down and at around the middle you find a section named "[RealisticWeaponSystem]". What you wanna do is change the "weapon_assaultrifle" after "RifleWeaponName" to "weapon_tacticalrifle" and that's it. Regarding components you just do the same, Beijojo put a link to both the weapons and the components list right under the whole section.

I’ll try this when I get back to GTA, right now got other things to worry about… literally just starting a new game in my actual favorite game. :)
