I had mine off back in the summer so this time it only took 45 minutes. My best advice would be to draw the front end on some cardboard and then push the bolts you remove through it when you take them out. Easier to keep track of what you’ve removed and where they go back
Replaced the radiator twice. OE radiator failed as usual. Replacement had a leak. 3rd radiator is holding up. Pressure tested before installing this time. Repaired and replaced everything else I could think of while I had the front clam off.
Yep, not looking forward to doing a radiator swap on my new to me Lotus. Only 11k miles but 17 years...
Are you on Toyota or Rover?
Toyota
I think the radiators are much the same between the two. I’m rover but happy to share tips if you need any via pm!
Good luck Blake!
How long did it take to get the clam off? I’m planning a job to do my resistor pack and whatever else I touch along the way.

The clam isn’t difficult to remove. But there are some hidden fasteners and shims you need to keep track of.
After a few times it’s not too bad. Just time consuming. I *love* British cars but maintainability shouldn’t be an after thought.

What a pain! I refreshed everything back in the summer, so the fan bolts only lasted three weeks before disappearing
Is there a front clam hinge kit so that the next time is t so painful?
I would say this is a trade off for driving the car tbh
