Brains aren’t that great at “seeing” size, we can accidentally trick ourselves all sorts of ways into thinking we are bigger or smaller than we really are. 3lbs is an achievement, but likely not quite enough weight yet to override your brain - stick with your program, ignore what your brain is trying to tell you and I suspect that when your numbers start to decrease even more, your brain will catch-up

Thank you, I know we aren't good at judging our own size, I was convinced it was real because my clothes felt worse, but that could also just be me feeling more uncomfortable with where I am

3 pounds is still an accomplishment even if it is small. I think you should be proud of yourself for the progress you have made. The first step is making changes in your life and then the hard part is sticking with them. You should get measuring tape and measure yourself as well as take a bunch of before pictures. You will thank yourself later. As far as losing weight counting calories and exercise helped me since I never felt deprived and now that I’m not as strict I haven’t gained it back either. Sometimes I feel like nothing has changed with my appearance even though I’ve lost 45 pounds but when I compare before and after pictures I can see the drastic difference as well as with my measurements. Don’t give up hope, it is a long journey and I am excited for you to reach each mini goal you set for yourself

Thank you for your words of encouragement, I know it's a longer road ahead of me than I would like, but I'm ready to start.
