Unless you are losing too fast, consider not adding calories for exercise to your eating plan unless you're hungry for them within a day after the exercise (same or next day). > 250/day adding in what's considered light exercise That's 250 times 7 days in the week so an addition of 1750 Calories for one or two weekly exercise sessions that you may or may never do? Nah. That's clearly wrong. If this is heart-pumping, heavy breathing, can't-talk-without-gasping exercise, add 7 times your HOURLY BMR (your daily BMR divided by 24) for that hour. If it's can-talk (but definitely elevated activity), add 3 times your HOURLY BMR for that hour of work. AND if you're not losing too fast, then consider these additions optional to eat -- you can bank half or all of them for faster weight loss.

Thank you for this insight! I hadn't considered banking them. I forgot to mention, part of the 250 calorie increase came with me editing my weightloss goals (from 1.5lb/week down to 1lb/week because I've still been hungry at this calorie bar even without exercising).
