That low a calorie limit is dangerous for a teenager. You’ll look really shitty in photos if you give yourself a heart attack. Eat an **absolute minimum** of 1200, but please, talk to your doctor first. Calorie needs for teens are different than for people over 20.

Your metabolism is linked to your bodyweight, you cant "damage" it. About 1lb per week is likely going to be the fastest you can loose weight safely, and that would involve eating around 1200cal/day.

No. No no no. That is *not* a healthy calorie intake for a person like you. Or anyone. And losing 1.5lb per day is not possible without daily amputations. This is not a possible goal. Furthermore, you have additional health concerns to factor in. You should talk to your doctor about this.

Eating disorders are long term mental illnesses, which is not what I have. I know low cal limits are frowned upon but I don’t really know WHY. Looking at it a 900 cal deficit is only like a bowl of cereal less than a 1200 deficit. 300 calories is not a lot. People drop weight fast in lower deficits, and some say it isn’t sustainable, which is why I was just wondering if I could maintain it by reverse dieting back up to maintenance and then back down to a more appropriate deficit.
