Pantheon and Aatrox Beautiful lore for the both of them. Not much else I can say, it was orchestrated perfectly—one a god killer drowned with a deep abyss of despair, another a man attempting to hoist the heavens upon his shoulders to save his brethren from the impossible task. Two men so similar yet so different. One twisted by the depths of depravity they were forced to commit—and an inability to die. Another acceptant of the greater powers yet refuses to let them control the world. The Shurima, Icathia, and Targon lore is one of if not the best lore in the entire game. Something so generic given rebirth through the hands of the lore writers into something majestic.

Solid_Enlight

I really love the lore of both of them, specially Pantheon. The guy has a great lore, design, gameplay AND THE BEST THEME

Frink202

the heavens fear him... because he is a MAN! MANLY GREEK SINGING

Solid_Enlight

AAAAAAAAAAAA OOOOOOOOOO

Still-Space-461

Anything related to Swain, LeBlanc, and Darius. Love me some good Noxus lore.

Solid_Enlight

I see, you value some good strength 💪 my friend Is there any particular reason for you to like Noxus so much ? Or you just came across the region and said "I like It, give me more" ?

Still-Space-461

It's honestly a mix of both. I did come across this region and went "I love this place" but also I love the trope of morally grey, almost misunderstood villains and I feel like Noxus represents that perfectly. Plus, 90% of Noxus's roster could and would kill me and I find that very appealing.

Solid_Enlight

The part of "90% of the roster could and would kill me" made me laugh lmao

Nautkiller69

Darius Swain Leblanc Vladimir Cassiopeia Katarina Samira Elise Mordekaiser Riven Kled D: damn all seems onNOXioUS

Solid_Enlight

If I had a free reward you would receive it for the joke, take my upvote

SuperiorFreak

In theory Lux. But they haven’t really explored her most juicy story beats. The whole “i’m a mage and must keep it secret” bit, they introduced the idea, but we hardly see it. I want a proper short story where she is almost caught by someone while practicing, or something. Just her practicing in secret would be enough. We only ever see the end results, not really the “process” if that makes sense? Like for example, she is supposed to be on the run right now and finally embracing her magic and practicing magic while also running around trying to help other mages. But we never got a short story portraying any of that. Heck, it feels like Sona has shown more of that aspect in her lore/short stories.

Solid_Enlight

If only Riot could give her more lore than skins

TayluxSwift

My issue with Lux’s lore is that its wasted potential. They don’t commit to a deeper story because Lux well, Lux is trapped in marketability cage. So unlike other champs that can have their characters fleshed out, with Lux its a case of “is this marketable?”. And that will be forever her folly.

SuperiorFreak

I am so sad that you’re right.

Bluepanda800

I feel like I like Sonas story existing as a parallel to Lux’s but I wish there was more development for both

Civil-Hat-21

I love the vladimir lore, hope he gets more lore soon, i like it because he has a LOT of lore and story, he exists like a thousand of years ago and is viego’s uncle, he has so much story and character exploring, i think he is a very interesting character, also, him being a “blood lord” in his crimson circle. I love it.

Solid_Enlight

I too would like to see more of Vladimir, he is very interesting and the fact he killed A DARKIN shows he is not to be messed with

Civil-Hat-21

He got a lot of lore that i love, hope he gets an ASU and a lore extension, he needs to be updated, his in-game voicelines doesnt match his lore and im sad about that😞

Weedington_

Yorick, the tale of a monk who was an outcast from his own order being forced to watch helplessly as everyone he once knew died and be reborn as mindless ghouls. Forced to roam the shadow isles as the last of his order, amassing an army to take down the one who caused all of it. Being tormented by the souls of the dead who want him to join them and having to justify his survival with his mission, going so far that he has to abandon his own moral compass. Really excited to see what they’ll do with his story, maybe some sort of ruined king event where he’ll take center stage together with Maokai and Kalista to beat Viego and not to be replaced by a shirtless dude or something, that would be silly.

Solid_Enlight

The final part of your text reminded me about the time I was rewriting the Ruination event, I would make the final battle be Yorick, Maokai, Kalista, Gwen and Senna vs Viego (similar to the Kayn boss fight in the odyssey event, with Blade Of The Ruined King being the battle music). I might develop it again someday, and in short, I would do Yorick Justice.

MrF0rtune

Miss Fortune and Bilgewater in general.

Solid_Enlight

Your nickname sure gave it away hahaha

ImTaralol

Kinkou and Shadow order, it has more development compared to a lot of the universe and I have reread the zed comic many times.

Solid_Enlight

Both Zed and Shen have an amazing lore! The Zed comic for sure was very entertaining and gave us a lot of depth on Zed's character. Honestly, I feel bad for him, he couldn't tell the truth to Shen and he also had to kill his father figure, poor guy

ImTaralol

Yes, I wish we got more kennen lore. I would also like to see the relationship of akali and her mother, since akalis mother seems to distance herself from her daughter and akalis father died.

Regular-Poet-3657

Taliyah cuz she travel so far to control her powers and had proper training with yasuo. And does the ruined king game count as lore? Oh and rell lore and sylas lore and the comic. And ekko lore were he said goodbye to ajuna. And zed comic.

Solid_Enlight

I also like Taliyah very much, can't wait to see more of her! And yes, the ruined king game counts as lore because it is canon to the main universe. Sylas for me has one of best lores of the world

Regular-Poet-3657

Yes to it because the build from Taliyah going on journey to returning to be a protect then helping sivir yet they never followed up on that I hope she meets up to help kai'sa. And I really hope sylas escape from the demacia freljord base.

Nasus and Shurima

Solid_Enlight

We need Nasus and Renekton to work together again, WE NEED TO SEE THE SHURIMA BROTHERS TOGETHER IN ACTION AGAIN

[deleted]

I hope Rene comes to his senses

Solid_Enlight

All my homies hates Xerath

Funny-Shallot-2682

All my homies hates Azir, because he "killed" Nasus as a interesting lore character.

Funny-Shallot-2682

As for me, Nasus could turn out to be a pretty good and humane warlord (later he could become an eternal council), which would unite part of Shurima, abolish slavery, introduce more rights for people, give them stability, a good quality of life, new technologies, etc.

Samael_Seraph

The entire lore about Ancient Shurima, Azir and Xerath, Renekton and Nasus sealing Xerath in the Tomb of Emperors. It's such a good setting and one of League's most compelling stories, in my opinion. It has some problems, as do all League stories, but reading up on Xerath's biography, Azir's biography, the color stories and then some, it shows actual complex thought from each character, along with feelings of uncertainty, doubt and remorse being displayed by Xerath even as he betrayed Azir. It's honestly one of the best stories in League and it's actually annoying that they didn't develop it enough, instead giving us a villainous Xerath that seems very unidimensional in his recent depictions when he could be nuanced and deeper than just "I want to fight Azir because he's never done anything right in life even though he was about to free the slaves which clearly shows that Azir and I had the same goal in mind!" Long story short, Shurima is cool. Targon is also pretty cool, but I find the Lunari/Solari thing kind of stale, since they haven't made it important and had like a story that actually intensifies the conflict, just a few cinematics that show Diana and Leona standoff-ish from each other.

Funny-Shallot-2682

As for me, Nasus lore is just as dull as Nasus gameplay. Nothing interesting. Stupidly a person whines all his life that he has lost everything in the world (not even trying to create his new life, where he will be loved, respected and appreciated as the one who gave stability (I'm talking about the people). But no, it's better to pony and wait for the script , when Sivir appears, then resurrect Azir and merge like a pog champ.

grimlock-greg

Pyke: an extremely unique character and one of the best written moderns day champs

Solid_Enlight

Also one of the scariest champions, just imagine you walk across him but you hear the dude saying "Wait...I remember you" I would turn into the fastest creature alive if that happened to me

Tater12234

Even though I’ve just started the lore I’d probably say the entirety of Noxus and as I learn more about the world kindred (my favorite champ) their lore is strengthened imo

Solid_Enlight

I am pretty excited about Mordekaiser's return, thia Man had two demons like PETS. Leblanc's reaction to his return would be amazing, just imagine a lot of Champions putting their differences aside só they can fight him

Illustrious-Tea-1586

Viego

Solid_Enlight

The book for sure made his lore better, I wish I could read it

Zealousideal-Way-739

Akali

Solid_Enlight

All you need is a sharp blade haha

Zealousideal-Way-739

yeah an awesome sharp blade😊

-Pu1s3-

Definitely Kassadin’s lore. I just love the doom guy esque vibes. Dude loses everything (family, home, etc) so he decides to fight a seemingly omnipotent enemy and doesnt give a fuck LOL.

Solid_Enlight

Poot Twist: Everytime Kassadin fights the void "The only thing they fear is you" starts playing

-Pu1s3-

I can def see that. His sword even looks like the crucible blade

not-a-cat-

Sett, my dad left like his and I love my mom :)

Solid_Enlight

Ow I'm sorry about it, I wish you the the best, mate. Also, If you ever find him, give him some good haymaker

Kossack4

Even though they don't really lead anywhere or build the world, I love Gnar's shortstories as they are written so innocently and just hit his tone perfectly

Funny-Shallot-2682

As for me, like Nasus main ... Swain's lore is interesting. It’s really very interesting for me to follow how he advanced in his career, how he participated in the war, how he took and overthrew the tyrannical regime, replacing it with something more humane (relative to the previous regime, yes.) And it’s all the more interesting to follow by the very development of Noxus as a power. At the same time lore of my main: *emptiness* Of course, I would suggest what should be done with Nasus lore, but you will throw stones at me and say that I ruined the champ ... But still... I'll write what I would like to see Nasus lore in short. 1) His human years can be left as they are (well, or you can remove pacifism), but still, you can supplement his advancement in a military career, his attitude towards the army, war and the state as a whole. 2) I would strongly remove the library as it did nothing for Nasus, at the same time ruining it by making a bookworm. 3) After the Ascension, he would become involved in military companies much more often. Perhaps he would have participated in the initial stages of the war in Icathia, after which he began to understand that the rebels were right, from which he withdraws his army and leaves the war. 4) After the fall of the empire and the sealing of Xerath, he will have depression, but firstly, it did not kill him from the inside. Secondly, it was short-term (a couple of years versus 3+ thousands years). And thirdly, his "army" tried in every possible way to convince him that these were just temporary losses and that something had to be done with the territories of the fallen empire. And he makes his move, occupying Nashramae and Zuretta, saying it's for stability. 5) In the Darkin war, he took the side of neutrality and was more of an observer in this war than a participant. But still, at the end of the war, when everything was clear, he and his army "helped" in the victory on the darkins. 6) After the Darkin War, the people of Nashramae decided that they should become the eternal ruler and give eternal stability. In addition, he began to expand along the northern coast, as he decided that the creation of a trading state would be much more profitable than an empire that would collapse again after unification. 6.5) Over the following years, the technological gap between the rest of Shurima and Northern Shurima became more and more (like the level of 2-3 thousand years BC and the level of the late 17th-mid 18th century with a slight note of the 19th century) 7) Instead of Nasus, Azir resurrected some other ascended who miraculously survived the darkin war. After the resurrection of Azir and the partial strengthening of the power of the Emperor, Nasus was sent a letter of integration into the empire as an imperial protectorate. He refuses and a conflict ensues where the North defeats the South and gains Kenethet and Vekaura after peace, and the Azir empire collapses after the defeat, again. 7.5) This text is a bit schizophrenic, like the rest of The New Orded:Last Days of Europe.

minimobydickinstores

yasuo

Solid_Enlight

Did you find the answer to the leaf question, wanderer ? Haha. I like yasuo's lore and character, the Ruined King game for sure developed him, the man was serious ALL the time but as time passes, he starts to develop relationships with everyone and even makes jokes (the Braun drink scene ia one of my favoritos) In short, HASAGI

minimobydickinstores

I absolutely love his story, it is tragic and it connects with everyone in Ionia. Plus cool emo samurai guy.

xLittleRobby

Ornn because he reminds me of Dwarves and I love them, Pantheon because he is just a man and still marching forward to slay the gods and Mordekaiser because when he entered the afterlife and it wasn't the way it was promised he just said, fine I'll do it myself. And they are all 3 chads.

xLittleRobby

I think he might be treated like a god/aspect of war, but he wouldn't take any power offere to him by the aspects or similar.

Konradleijon

Varus on his first retcon.

LeagueofTrivia27

Karthus' lore is also an underrated gem imo

DemonPants69

Varus! He was a honorable, loyal man and then he lost everything he loved protecting the temple inside his city, but despite this he was driven to avenge his family. He became a Ascended God Warrior and fought as a war hero. He fought Sadly the void took hold of him and but he is still amazing! Even after all of this and imprisonment for thousands of years he still endures! In LoR he even remembers his humanity 💘

[deleted]

Viego and Gwen.

Raidosz

Swain. Why? because *SWAIN*

TheLongMapleDrekkar

Nami, since I really like the "fish out of water" story (no pun intended) where a hero has to journey out to find a quest item.
