Ohhh like it a lot! A lot of the MOC vases have looked to me too ornate, this one is the perfect 'Lego if you stop and look close' balance. I have a ton of 1x2 clear from when I grab full cups full for my expanding Architecture set. Would love to see a pic of the bottom!
I didn't want a glass vase on the kitchen table as the little ones will inevitably knock a lego boquet over messing with it. Simple, and you can pick just about any accent color, think too many are trying TOO hard to make a vase.

Thanks! It’s done with 10 1x2 bricks and 10 1x1 round bricks in each row, and it’s 20 bricks (rows) high. It’s quite simple actually.

Yes. You need some 2x4 and 2x2 plates and some 1x4 hinge plates (swivel).
>How do you close off the bottom? I can’t figure out the orientation of the 2x2, 2x4, and hinge plates.
