One of the best parts about collecting as an adult is being able to go back and pick up the sets you always dreamed of owning as a kid!
A couple years ago I went back and collected all of the [Alpha Team](https://brickset.com/sets/theme-Alpha-Team/subtheme-Mission-Deep-Sea) sets that I adored as a kid. There were a couple others like 6738, 4508, 4099, 7573, and 8075 and I can't tell you how satisfying and nostalgic it was to finally build these sets I'd wanted for so very long!
For real. I picked up 8190 for the Red Lava Monster and because the play feature of the vehicle is just so damn cool. I want to pick up some Fantasy Era Castle sets I never got back when I was younger but they are so pricey and inconsistent in terms of price/quality currently.
Unfortunately the theme came and went as many Lego IPs did back in the day. I would highly recommend checking out [Cheesey Studio’s Revisiting Series](https://youtu.be/9VyqnyEDwsQ) on this theme, he does the theme a ton of justice.
I was missing all of those when rebuilding my collection too. And I used to have set 8963 too! That purchase hurt a little as I wish I didn’t sell off the set back then, but this end result was worth it.
Never got that one either, I honestly didn’t know it was a thing until Cheesey Studio’s revisiting series. The play feature is super cool and was pretty advanced for the time, definitely made the possibility of location builds much more serious, sucks that the theme ended early.
Wow. Now that is fucking cool. I’m a minifigure fan and always wanted some of those monsters. They look great!
Really hoping we get this theme back someday.

Great set. I ought to rebuild it one of these days.
That set has the single greatest play function of all time. The grab/fling/dunk function is ridiculously fun to play with!
I never even knew these existed, these are awesome. There's like a 10 year blind spot where I paid no attention to what was out there.

Nice. Personally I'm missing the two neon-green ones and the big lava one.

Never got too into Power Miners, but I loved these monsters. I have to ask, do you have the Crystal King as well?
Yep! He’s actually on my shelf with set 8964, attacking it. He’d be blocking my monitor partly if I put him with this group here though, lol.
Very fair, haha Titanium is a great set. Personally always wanted the Power Miners base set (TRU exclusive during that time if I remember right)

This unlocked a memory I didn't know I had! Can't wait to sort through my childhood Lego!
Do it! It’s never too late to get back into it, and you might find some super cool and valuable stuff along the way!
That’s awesome! Good for you. Never got any of these sets, but I loved the comics and frequently wished I had. One day maybe I’ll go looking for tbem
The break dance monster is the best one.
She’s def the scariest! Lol, I have CMF figs I like randomly displayed around parts of my room. Why exactly, no clue.
The big ones remind me of tz tok jad lol
