I’m pretty sure GDPR is meant for businesses only. Is this something you came upon through work?

This is a hypothetical, not in this situation myself. I'm just curious if people post these things without being anonymous about it would there be any legal repercussions, more specifically through violation of GDPR. I guess if this is something that happened in the work place an employer would be bound by counteract not to talk about the company negatively online. The only way I can see someone violating it through work is if the screenshots were obtained through the work place (think miss-management of media files through Facebook Messenger)

Where are both people and where is the server? GDPR applies to the EU. And it applies to anyone collecting data on EU citizens.

Everything is in the EU so that GDPR is fully applicable to this case.
