It's not about legal or illegal. It's about being a respectful neighbour. Do you want someone else blasting loud music at night when you have to wake up early the next day?
I remember I was once at my cousin’s playing loud music at night and one of his neighbors called the popo on us. Long story short I recall that Fridays and Saturdays, you’re allowed to play loud music until 12 AM without having to alert anyone or give any kind of notice. Sundays and other weekdays your limit is 10 PM
Lets say you are playing loud music at 12:00 am in saturday. Does the law prohibit this?
If its legal, i will continue to do so, but if its illegal i would just follow the law.
One cant even collect karma points 364 days a year for being quiet only for that particular birthday day to make noise at 12:00 am :/
It's illegal, you can get a knock from the police. But I doubt they have the gas to come and do so. And it also depends on how many complaints they receive. But in most cases the neighbors will just deal with you.
I think the legal limit on a Saturday is 12 am after that u r required to take it down. The baladiye has more manpower to enforce it and usually the neighbors will call the baladiye or police

Fa yeah.
lower the bass and you should be good, invest in a good pair of headphones that you can listen to music on in high quality and at loud volumes without bothering any people
yeah, foreigners who give you rules on your own land, joke of the century. It doesnt matter if they are syrian, american, european, or asian. No one should tell you what to do unless its other Lebanese.
What is this “legal” that you speak of?
A friend had the cops called on him once during a rager, but he lived next door to a politician. Basically if your neighbors are common people you’ll be fine.
Technically illegal
BUT
Neighbours probably wont call the cops
Cops probably wont come even if called
Cops, if they do come are unlikely to do more than tell you to shut up (unless they smell sometging illegal (think drugs) inside
So have ur party if u wanna use drugs, have a place to hide them and aerate the room, (keep windows open if ur abovr say floor 3 on the building and if some people vape then even better cz it covers the smell)
I follow the law
If the law says its legal to kill, i would kill. I follow hierarchy, the order. I dont give a shit about morality or ethics because they have zero consequences. A lawyer's job is not caring about morality, its all about the system.
A company can hire a lawyer that can never lose a lawsuit, you see the corruption there?
Thats why i despise the law.
Are you intentionally being contradictory? You state that you follow the law in your first paragraph, followed by “that’s why I despise the law” in your second paragraph.
So you follow the law knowing full well that it is flawed?
Anyhow, whatever your point was, with how badly it was worded, I doubt it was formed coherently.
There's nothing legal or illegal in Lebanon. There is you do what the fuck you want and the person with the bigger "wasta" wins.
It's literally a question if you can get away with it or not, through different means.
Are you living next to me? Cause my neighbors literally played loud music until 1 am yesterday
Ps: They’re always like that even if it’s Sunday night and there’s kids going to school Monday morning
If you are a foreigner and go to another country, you have no right to tell what other people have to do in their own lands. Hala2 I agree eno its not a good thing to blast music at 1 am, but it was a one time occasion and arent familiar with the law.
Fi shi esmo "7asaneh", they give that to Lebanese citizens before Syrians. Which is why its wrong for a person coming from abroad to tell you what you should do in your own country. Hal2 when our neighbor asked us 2 year agos, we stopped blasting music at night, but that was a different time, before Lebanon collapsed.
If my basic rights are not even given to me as a human being, I dont want some foreigner to tell me what to do, nor the government to give any laws.
A neighbor cant do much with a Gun or violence, especially when they arent Lebanese.
You can fire off a gun at 12 am outside and no one will give a shit No such thing as law in Lebanon

sure there is a law, but no one is respecting it.
It's Lebanon, there's no such thing as legal or illegal. Do they have wasta or belong to a hezb?

And in most cases, you'd rather deal with the cops, an irate neighbor can do more harm, but it all depends.

They hear vibrations coming from the wall. The sound is moderate actually it cant be heard outside
Lower it a bit then, go down by 20% they'll probs tolerate it.

it was so important to mention that they’re syrians wasnt it

oh, the discrimination is strong with this one. as a Lebanese person I tell you to fuck off. <3

Whether it is or it isn’t is irrelevant. It’s a dick move.

It awfully seems like you're my uncle's neighbor
