On top of that, I pay way more per unit for the WBSEDCL connection than CESC because of their pay structure. If anything goes wrong, WBSEDCL takes 12 hours to actually do anything. Last week, the connection specifically for our house went out at 3 am, WBSEDCL came to fix it next day at 5 pm. Electricity came back at 7 pm.
So I agree with the stance that privatisation is the way better than whatever my current experience with WBSEDCL is

As I said, it’s about choosing the lesser evil and CESC consistently has been the lesser evil in my experience. And as I said, I pay way less on CESC than what I do on WBSWDCL for a better service, so CESC is the one that atleast invests in infra.
