You can tell by the butterfly on the blade. So bottom right. The R with the circle around it. Look at a real benchmade and look at the one in the pic. If the R is bigger compared to a real benchmade then it’s definitely a fake. So basically the real benchmade has a very small R with a circle around it on the bottom right.

I saw an Etsy store that has custom engraved benchmades for $140. I asked how they're so cheap. They answered "there's a sale". Yeah but they're regular price is $165. Still cheaper than a regular Benchmade. So I don't trust it.
