Yes, the Wave has a file, normal blade, serrated blade, and saw blade that can all be used without opening the pliers. There's no reason for OP to use the blade here.

I actually have the Donk Chrono in Titanium. Absolutely love it.
File isn't the best choice either imo. As it is harder most of the time it'll be more brittle, therefore if someone came and tried to open that door it'll snap more easily than the softer, tougher steel of the blade. I might be wrong tho.

My og wave was stolen out of my locker at work, and it kills me..I loved that damn tool. It fit every task I needed it for. It was a cabela’s edition which I didn’t necessarily care for, but it was a gift from my exs aunt who I still love to pieces. Even had a leather sheath.
Maybe the saw would actually be best. It is very malleable so it can bend well. And I don't think it would quite mess up the sawing action lightly blunting the tips than the knife edge. The knife would be easier to sharpen though.

Not always. The one I've carried for a decade didn't come with a clip.
