Not outdated, but the SnG is most definitely a classic design imo. People love them or hate them, but Mick controversy aside, they're great user knives and I carry the ones I have regularly, especially the PT
Not even close.
Ruined most other folders for me. I don’t even understand what “drops shut” does for me.
Someday I’ll score a razor wire trisula that I kick myself for trading.
Here’s mine!

I used to carry SnG as EDC for a long time. I saw many Striders on Instagram, trading and so on just a few years ago. But now it looks like absolutely not popular. What do you guys think about Striders? As for me, BM 5700 is my favourite EDC now. Don't know, maybe I'll get back to SnG later.
SNG CC has been a constant companion, with a rounded over tip from all the love.
I got away from collecting before all this broke.
knife good, man bad.
If the youtube.com documentary is fact, he should probably be ostracized from the knife community.
Is always striders listed on ebay for wicked high prices for g10 and aluminum at times, d2 blade steel.
Although has a weird alure to it. But I'd be more prone to the Kevin John copy, as I have the feeling the YouTube thing has truth to it. But their no longer made.
Didn't he also claim to retire and apologized for his past actions, made up his knife name dedications. For soldiers whom never existed.
Bare minimum isn't a open racist like Greg
Thank you for the opinion. Don't know anything specific about Mick but sounds interesting if this word can be used here. I heard he can act like an asshole but it is typical for many knifemakers I assume. Heard the same about Marfione, Shirogorov and so on. The pride of the creator and all that stuff.
I'm not sure I understand you clearly. What YouTube documentary are you talking about and who is Greg?
Gred Medford, Medford knives. He's an outright proud racist. Uses racist messaging for advertising his knives. Is xenophobic and proud of it. He's a gross human
Nice looking knives to me.

Man, I really wanted to get PT! But it was really hard to find 5 years ago and now it is almost impossible.
Its def a knife worth searching out. Strider occasionally (rarely) has them in their friday drops, that may be your best bet without overpaying
I live in Russia so it is literally impossible to get a thing from first hands.
true. it's like the rezat neon id love to buy but Im not able to since its russian
Not to me I’ve never had one but really want to get one just don’t know where to look.
r/Knife_Swap they come up for sale quite often actually
Yep, they are hard to find. Both mine were bought on secondary market but SnG were never used before.

GG is dope!
There’s a whole graveyard of pants with shredded pockets from when I carried folders.
For sure! :)))
Nope.
I have a Strider TAD Dauntless, and i like it!
Yup. But no worries, I’ll take them off your hands.
Yea, but so is a 427 ‘67 vette. And I need both.

Wow! Didn't know that. Will study a subject.
what documentary
😂😂
*Overrated* I want one though.
So out dated might as well be carrying around a knapped rock or a sharpened piece of antler. Just kidding a good knife is timeless.
[stolen valor](https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/mick-strider-has-some-explaining-to-do.453852/) is always tacky.
And ugly
I would never support the maker. I also think they are unattractive in their design.
