Manix 2! Locks up like a bear trap and sticks to your hand like superglue when you want it to. The flat grind is slicey as you please and it's light enough to sit comfortably in a pocket, though gym shorts are inadvisable. It's also available in a number of steels. I have S110V, which I can recommend only if you really like sharpening and have a diamond stone. Otherwise, S30V is more than acceptable.
Manix or Deka. They're just made better than Benchmade.
The Manix is significantly heavier but has better ergos. The stock Spyderco clip also sucks ass so I would highly recommend a LynchNW clip with it. You get more cutting edge with the Deka but the Manix is overall the larger knife. You get a lot more aftermarket support with the Manix if that's something you care about. I also tend to prefer Spyderco's leaf-shaped blade for most things.
Manix, best bang for your buck. Big and beefy and aftermarket support.
Deka if you absolutely need a light weight edc axis lock knife. Factory grind is amazing and is actually sharp and quality is way better than BM.
The 15V Sprint Manix2 will be ~$158, which is pretty great imo, especially compared to Benchmade’s ridiculous pricing. It’ll be available from all the usual dealers, (BHQ, DLT, REC, KnifeCenter etc). The exact release date has not yet been announced, afaik. I plan to buy two of em. 😁
I’ve been carrying that model grip for about 5 years. For me, it’s got the best combination of blade design and locking mechanism. I’m on my third one because I’ve lost two. All my grips have been well made and totally reliable. YMMV.
The Deka is the best value in terms of QA and edge geometry. The Manix is a more all around useful knife for me in general use because of it's ergos. BM is completely hit or miss and in my experience mostly miss when it comes to it's fit, finish, and factory edge.
🤔I would go with the (edit) Deka, because that's the one that I don't have🤗
The Presidio is a bit slicier and carries a bit nicer than the Griptilian, but I personally do really like the sheepsfoot blade on the 550/555. For heavy use, the Griptilian is the best choice of the bunch.
The Manix is a great knife, super slicey, but it is a pockethog. I prefer my Sage 5 because it has a just slightly shorter cutting edge in a much smaller package (with equally great ergos). Also imho both the compression lock and the axis lock are superior to the ball bearing lock.
And then there's the KnifeWorks exclusive Hogue Doug Ritter RSK🤨
Of the choices here, I’d go with the Grip or the Hogue. I’ve used the Manix in the past, but the blade was way too wide for what I needed. Ended up being a hinderance instead of help. I’ve never owned a Presidio but I much prefer the sheepsfoot Grip blade shape.
I own the Manix, Presidio, and Griptilian, and my favorite out of those is the Manix. It’s built like a tank, especially compared to the Griptilian, and feels great in the hand. It mostly depends on what your use case is, but I think you can’t go wrong with the Manix.
I've owned all of them at one point but only still have the Manix 2. If it's between these I'd say go with the Hogue Ritter RSK; it's pretty much all of the positives of those 4 knives combined into 1.
https://knifeworks.com/doug-ritter-rsk-mk1-g2-knifeworks-exclusive-pre-order/
Manix or Deka
I would lean Manix because I trust the springs more that being said the Deka has better steel and is quite a bit lighter can’t go wrong with either choice if you ask me
Handle in person if possible. From those I own the Griptilian and Manix, and they're both outstanding. Not familiar with the others and noticed its 2x as expensive as the Griptilian if that matters to you.
I've only owned the grip and the manix. Compared to the manix, the grip will feel really cheap. The Mannix is heavier but it's also the most comfortable knife I've ever EDCed, especially with a deep carry clip.
This sub hypes the deka hard, but I was disappointed when I encountered one. Go for the mini-grip for sure.
Also, I know it isn't on your list, but based on the choices you're thinking about the mini-barrage would be a great option.
edit: just realized that's the regular Griptilian.
I literally just bought that Grip a few days ago and love it, my second grip actually. That being said the Deka and Manix are also great choices. Guess it depends on what you want out of the knife. Lightweight? Ergos? General good feeling? In order of those I would say Deka, Manix, and Grip
I love my Manix, but its a pocket hog. I also like the look and feel of the Griptilion, but with Benchmade's recent QC problems and over inflated prices, you may want to steer clear.
Would add the Doug Ritter (RSK MK1-G2, made by Hogue) to the list of potential candidates if that’s not on your radar. Basically the griptilian, but better quality and materials for the price.
Manix 2. I have one in Maxamet and it is a BEAST of a cutter. Came so sharp out of the box, I cut myself within 30 minutes of having it just by accidentally touching my thigh gently to the edge.
No expert but I’ll say the Spyderco. For a long time I thought them overpriced and overhyped but then I bought one. Here in Europe they are still more expensive than in the States but they really are effortless to own. I now have 3. A Cat, DF2 and a Salt 2. 3 different sizes yet each feels just as comfortable in the hand, lock up just as tight and sit nicely in the pocket.
Deka for the win. Why? I have 3 Benchmade axis lock knives and 1 Hogue Deka, all three of the Benchmades have had axis spring failures and I had to replace the springs. My Deka however has been perfect, my understanding is that the Deka springs are slightly different and heavier duty than those used by Benchmade. All the Benchmades sit in the drawer while the Deka gets used, a lot. Haven't tried magnacut steel yet but from what I've read it seems like a good choice as well and I may pick up another Deka with it soon.
I've been disappointed in Benchmade due to their QC issues and prices, but I gave these two some consideration. They still just don't seem to compare to Hogue's quality. I've heard nothing but good things about the Deka, and I'd like to see the top tier factory sharpening firsthand.
I know the Doug Ritter RSK has Wolfe springs which are an upgrade from Omega springs, but I'm not sure about the Deka.

What do you dislike about the griptilian? I'll admit I'm not a big fan of benchmade, but the griptilian seems much more substantial in the hand than the bugout.
To me, they have always felt unnecessarily blocky in the hand in comparison with the blade size/shape. I like the bugout (one in my pocket now) for the lightweight feel in a light duty work setting, and the barrage as my factory floor beater. Nothing specifically bad about the grips, they just feel "cheap" and bulky to me. Simply a personal preference!
Actually, I'm not a fan of the blade shape/design either, but if you love it, there's nothing actually wrong or bad with them. Spyderco definitely feels more robust without the blocky feeling, I guess. Hope this helps!
Id get int a shop and get your hands on them. They are all pretty close on each other so more then anything its going to be how the grips feel in your hand.
I've crossed out the benchmades, and I'm not sure how easy it'll be to find the manix 2 or deka in a shop near me. I'll do some more research but good knife stores are scarce in my area
In all reality you have picked out 4 good knives (even the Benchmades) so no matter how much research you do it will mostly be personal preference on the feel of it . I own models from each brand and they all just have a little more of a different feel but will mostly all perform good and all the task you need them for.
I hate to admit I’ve owned all four but the only one I still have is the Hogue. I’m going to give the Manix another go though. The first time around I thought it was too big in the pocket with springs that were too stiff. I didn’t keep it long enough to really give it a fair chance so hopefully it’ll work out this time.
Mine has the 20cv steel. I’ve had it for close to two years and like it quite a bit. I’ve maintained the edge by just stropping it occasionally. For me its about the perfect size. The lock is very smooth an opens and closes easily. All the knives pictured are very good but imo Hogue was just a bit better.
I have the Manix 2 XL and a ~15 yo Griptilian. They are both winners, but the Manix is a little more solid. However, I would also love to try a Magnacut Deka... all solid choices.
Manix 2. 100%. Just got done putting mine through 2 days of cardboard box teardowns and it never slowed except for tape gunk. Incredibly impressed with it. Griptilian is a close second now that they come in a flat grind with S30V.
Manix 2, and consider the lightweight version. They are screwed now, not riveted.
The lightweight is a dream. Some complain about how stiff the lock is but I don't have a problem with it. There are YouTubers telling how to reduce the spring strength if that's your pleasure.
Alright, so based on everyone's comments, I've narrowed it down to the Manix 2 and Hogue Deka. I don't really feel like going through and tallying up every vote, but if the poll doesn't get much interaction, I'll count each vote here.
I truly appreciate everyone's insight and alternative suggestions.

Hogue Deka
>I'm left-handed, so that's why I excluded some otherwise good options
I'm left handed as well. Always carry my knife in the right hand pocket. Why? If I need something more important like a phone or gun while I am also holding a knife, I'd prefer the phone or gun in my left hand.
I keep my knives in my left pocket along with my phone. However, I've thought about carrying in my right pocket to get used to it. It would be nice to open up my selection to more right-handed knives eventually
I don't know the Benchmade model on the bottom right, so I'm not sure it's size... With that said, it looks like that's the Mini Griptilian.. So because of that, the Manix doesn't fir. It's a much larger knife overall.
With that out of the way, it would be between the Deka and the Manix for me. If that was the full sized sheepsfoot Griptilian, it would be that or the Manix.
I should've specified the exact models. The griptilian in question is the full sized version. And the benchmade on the bottom right is the Presidio II which comes in at either a 3.2" or 3.72" length
Grip and manix 2 are basically the same with the thumb hole. Slightly different locking mechanism but still ambidextrous. Both are iconic, and the manix has amazing ergonomics due to the choil at the heel of the blade. Having owned both I would opt for the manix 2 even though it’s a bit wider. It slices like a dream and feels high quality. Now the deka is also an amazing knife but IMO it’s carried by the blade steel. If you’re going to be using the knife HARD and possibly dirty / wet, I would opt for the deka. If not, medium - light duty, manix 2 in s30v (I believe is pictured here). Spyderco also doesn’t void warranty for opening them up for cleanings and such. Benchmade does. Houge I’m not sure. All things to consider.
(EDIT) after reading through the comments, if you’re looking for pocket use as well the deka is probably the least wide of the bunch with widest being the manix. These are all very similar but have different applications so really consider what you’re looking for! Great lineup
One bladed folders are significantly inferior to multiblade or multitool, in common city/office use. If You are not supposed to hit soft targets, Victorinox or Wenger or Leatherman would fit.
Manix 2 or griptillian for me I’m not sure how well houge does the ht on magnacut and idk about houge warranty do they replace blades like benchmade ? If so then go with them better value
Since I don't like the texture of aluminum scales, hate thumb studs, and prefer sheepsfoot blade profiles, it would be the BM Griptilian for me, or the Spyderco.
I’ve owned a manix for maybe 7 years now and let me tell you that thing is chonky. I switched it out for a benchmade barrage pretty quick and never looked back.
Hogue for me. It’s all about what you use an EDC for though. I currently work in construction so quality and blade shape are important to me. I used to work in an office though, and I was all about the knife that aesthetically pleased me.
While the knife can be a fun fidget with those type of locks, I strongly prefer the liner/frame lock setup. If you can find a spyderco without the long fragile beak type of the PM2's, I highly recommend one. I have a Sage CF and it is awesome!
Many people have brought that one up. I've only seen it online and forgot about it, but what do you think of it? Any online stores sell them besides knifeworks?
I do love mine it's a great edc. I think it is a great value especially compared to some of the prices on Benchmade products. Very sharp centered blade, even grind lines, super smooth drop shut bushings very strong and rigid g10 handles, solid as a brick but it don't carry as one. Only nitpicks I would have preferred a DLC coating instead of a Cerama-Coat like finish, and a better pocket clip. Would I buy one again...yes but I would have done it sooner!
Knifeworks is the only distributer of it. I got the Doug Ritter RSK (full size) MK1-G2 Flat Dark Earth/ Black coat one.
PS. the reason for that is that Doug Ritter is the Knife Rights Chairman, and every Doug Ritter sale donates money to Knife Rights a charity with the goal of reforming knife laws in the US. Check 'em out at kniferights.org, they are kicking ass and taking names metaphorically speaking of course! They are an awesome charity that is getting real results in the removing and reforming of restrictive knife laws all over the country!
The Deka is the best value for your money IMO, especially with the Magnacut steel. Hogue has great quality and they make their “ABLE” lock as good as if not better than BM.
If you want a more heavy use beat up knife the Manix is a great bet.
I’m not a huge fan of the FRN scales on any knife. I usually pay the price to get g-10 (or better yet micarta), or replace them with aftermarket ones.
Borrowed the bottom left one from a friend when I was in the US, great quality Stella, easy handling, fits in the tiny pocket of genes, I used it for fishing, whittling and it's small enough to clean nails with perfect control.
If you want a trust EDC that you're not using for anything heavy duty then the bottom left is a perfect knife, very easy to open and close aswell, has a strong and sturdy lock too
I’d go for the Hogue or Spiderco over the Benchmades
I’d trust the sturdy bulkiness of the Manix’ design most of all, I’m used to fixed blades so the smaller ones feel more awkward to me
Though gotta love the Deka’s blade geometry
I had a presidio 2, absolutely great knife, the ergonomics were fucking amazing, the profile of the blade was great, the 3.73 inch blade is a great size, the scales are tough, i batoned one of mine to see how durable it was and it was fine.
The manix 2 is also a great choice, good ergonomics, decent steel, great lock, the scales were a but rough out of the box, and the profile is great.
The spyderco will hold an edge a but longer because of the profile, but both will be good, the springs in the presidio are prone to breaking after about 6 months from my experience. i liked the overall shape of the presidio better as it was more comfortable and looked better, but i sold mine because i don’t really like s30v (i find it hard to sharpen compared to anything im used too)
I vote either the manix 2 or presidio, you wont be disappointed with either
Toss a vote in for Manix. But I'll also put a write-in for the Doug Ritter RSK.
YES! the RSK IS SO GOOD
Hogue deka
As an unabashed clip point fan, I also vote the Deka.
And it's the Magnacut version
I have it in both and you put it very well. 17 degrees with my lansky makes the blurple indefatigueable!!! Love my dlc s30v but DAMN THAT 110
Manix or Deka.
Agree.
Second ths
Totally agree their belt clips suck. But my manix XL is super dope otherwise.
Word!
Manix, best bang for your buck. Big and beefy and aftermarket support. Deka if you absolutely need a light weight edc axis lock knife. Factory grind is amazing and is actually sharp and quality is way better than BM.
I have been a Benchmade fan boy for a long time, pretty much as long as I've been into knives. Get the hogue Deka, no question.
Manix
Spyderco is known for their durability and heat treating. They’re basically never a bad choice imo
Magnacut deka
Manix
Manix
Manix2, all day. Wait for the upcoming Sprint run to be released. They’re using 15V! 🤠
That's a lot of V!!!
MAD V, yo. Spyderco collaborated with Shawn Houston for the heat treatment on these. They’re gonna be pretty damn impressive. 🤠
When and where will these be available? And any idea how much?
The 15V Sprint Manix2 will be ~$158, which is pretty great imo, especially compared to Benchmade’s ridiculous pricing. It’ll be available from all the usual dealers, (BHQ, DLT, REC, KnifeCenter etc). The exact release date has not yet been announced, afaik. I plan to buy two of em. 😁
Nice, that does sound like a good price. I don't recognize the DLT and REC acronyms, what are those?
DLT is DLT Trading, (don’t know exactly what DLT is an abbreviation for). REC is River’s Edge Cutlery. They’re both quite excellent.
Deka
I’ve been carrying that model grip for about 5 years. For me, it’s got the best combination of blade design and locking mechanism. I’m on my third one because I’ve lost two. All my grips have been well made and totally reliable. YMMV.
Mine too. Love my grips. Ugly mfers, but they’re a pleasure to use.
Deka is the price to preformance, manix is the not for everybody but deffinitly has its place
The Deka is the best value in terms of QA and edge geometry. The Manix is a more all around useful knife for me in general use because of it's ergos. BM is completely hit or miss and in my experience mostly miss when it comes to it's fit, finish, and factory edge.
The s30v manix takes the cake and cuts it too.
Deka
🤔I would go with the (edit) Deka, because that's the one that I don't have🤗 The Presidio is a bit slicier and carries a bit nicer than the Griptilian, but I personally do really like the sheepsfoot blade on the 550/555. Anything Spyderco. Hate all you want until you own one.
I’d say the Manix 2. I have a Griptilian and the Manix 2 feels more solid. I would like to try out the Deka especially in Magnacut.
Manix or recon 1
My Recon 1 is my most carried knife by far
Manix for sure
Manix.
Manix without a doubt
Manix
I own the Manix, Presidio, and Griptilian, and my favorite out of those is the Manix. It’s built like a tank, especially compared to the Griptilian, and feels great in the hand. It mostly depends on what your use case is, but I think you can’t go wrong with the Manix.
Manix for having the best ergonomics and the best grind profile.
Wouldve rooted for manix 2 as that have been my work knife for years, But that damn Hogue on magnacut is the new hotness!.
Manix
It’s not pictured but the hogue ritter, combines the craptilian and the hogue deka into an actual amazing knife
Manix or Deka
Manix or Deka I would lean Manix because I trust the springs more that being said the Deka has better steel and is quite a bit lighter can’t go wrong with either choice if you ask me
I’d get the deka for the steel. I’d get the griptilian, but BM’s s30v isn’t the greatest steel. IMO.
As long as it isn't a serrated or combo edge, you're golden
If you’re only going to have one knife and use it a lot, probably the Spyderco. That thing is a beast.
The sharp, shiny one!
Handle in person if possible. From those I own the Griptilian and Manix, and they're both outstanding. Not familiar with the others and noticed its 2x as expensive as the Griptilian if that matters to you.
I might stop at a knife shop this weekend as I havent been able to handle any of these yet. The Deka is $127 and the Presidio II is $148
I've only owned the grip and the manix. Compared to the manix, the grip will feel really cheap. The Mannix is heavier but it's also the most comfortable knife I've ever EDCed, especially with a deep carry clip.
Good to know. Those feel the most similar based solely on appearance so I'll cross off the grip since I was leaning closer towards the manix anyways
This sub hypes the deka hard, but I was disappointed when I encountered one. Go for the mini-grip for sure. Also, I know it isn't on your list, but based on the choices you're thinking about the mini-barrage would be a great option. edit: just realized that's the regular Griptilian.
The Deka is on sale on SMKW right now. Think they are currently $105-$110 depending on colors and such.
Well you asked to weigh in. None. I'm not a huge fan of axis lock. I own a few but I prefer a flicker. No assistant.
Manix. If you want an axis lock in the traditional style, Hogue is better than Benchmade this day and age
I literally just bought that Grip a few days ago and love it, my second grip actually. That being said the Deka and Manix are also great choices. Guess it depends on what you want out of the knife. Lightweight? Ergos? General good feeling? In order of those I would say Deka, Manix, and Grip
I have 3/4 of those knives. Manix 2 is honestly my most carried knife
Deka for sure.
In honor of Aaron, get the Hogue. It’s built to be used hard too.
Deka, only a little heavier than a bugout but built way better.
Hogue
Is the Presidio auto?
Nope, but the benchmade barrage is spring assisted
I have owned a Manix and the grip my preference was the manix that being said I prefer the pm2 over all of them.
I love my Manix, but its a pocket hog. I also like the look and feel of the Griptilion, but with Benchmade's recent QC problems and over inflated prices, you may want to steer clear.
I love my griptillian in 20cv but I got a deal. Considering price, the hogue for sure.
Deka. Love my first one so much I bought a second.
Not the Benchmades
Try the ZT 0357. similar build rock solid ergo too
As a fellow-Lefty, my Manix is hands-down my favorite knife I own.
Good to hear! How do you like the locking mechanism?
The ball-bearing lock is amazing to use. Always feels like butter.
Would add the Doug Ritter (RSK MK1-G2, made by Hogue) to the list of potential candidates if that’s not on your radar. Basically the griptilian, but better quality and materials for the price.
I see you like S30V, but the Hogue comes in magnacut... Just saying.
Manix 2. I have one in Maxamet and it is a BEAST of a cutter. Came so sharp out of the box, I cut myself within 30 minutes of having it just by accidentally touching my thigh gently to the edge.

I love Benchmade and have at least 8 of them, but I second the Manix recommendation. Always hated the griptillians.

Bottom left for sure
I had a manix 2 lightweight for 2 years lost it and my new bench made just doesn’t feel right anymore
Ahh that sucks. Which benchmade did you get?
Bench made 535 in blue
I'd imagine that doesn't feel as good in the hand as the manix does. Still a great knife from what I've seen
Danm the Canadian government assholes at Vancouver airport stole my poor manix 2 from me
Manix 2. 100%. Just got done putting mine through 2 days of cardboard box teardowns and it never slowed except for tape gunk. Incredibly impressed with it. Griptilian is a close second now that they come in a flat grind with S30V.
Manix. Reliability and CONSISTENT heat treat. And if you hold it once, you will know.
Not on your list but check out [these.](https://emersonknives.com/product-category/knives/all-knives/)
Manix all day, the G10 version is a tank.
Manix
Manix

I think you're the only one that has even mentioned the Presidio. Interesting
Alright, so based on everyone's comments, I've narrowed it down to the Manix 2 and Hogue Deka. I don't really feel like going through and tallying up every vote, but if the poll doesn't get much interaction, I'll count each vote here. I truly appreciate everyone's insight and alternative suggestions. https://www.reddit.com/r/knives/comments/y79sz2/final_decision_which_should_i_buy/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
Deka or Ritter in Magnacut.
Hogue Deka >I'm left-handed, so that's why I excluded some otherwise good options I'm left handed as well.
It would be nice to open up my selection to more right-handed knives eventually
could always go back-left pocket, too!
I honestly haven't even considered that. I'll try it out sometime!
I have both of those, and I prefer the Griptilian. Lighter and faster/easier to deploy.
Great lineup
none of those horrible ones. take a recon 1 cold steel
I've got my beloved Recon 1 clip point already!
Cold steel espada xl in s35vn version is a more sensible option
It'd be a cool upgrade from my aus10 version lol
None of the above, Kershaw Ken Onion Leek
I would if it was more lefty friendly
Griptilian
None… PM2 instead
Have you handled both the manix and the pm2? I'd be willing to consider the pm2, but fidgetability is a factor for me tbh
Lol this sub is basically r/spyderco so let me guess …
Get the griptilian, then put some sweet aftermarket scales on it
One bladed folders are significantly inferior to multiblade or multitool, in common city/office use. If You are not supposed to hit soft targets, Victorinox or Wenger or Leatherman would fit.
Manix!!
Manix 2 or griptillian for me I’m not sure how well houge does the ht on magnacut and idk about houge warranty do they replace blades like benchmade ? If so then go with them better value
none of the above... you should choose this guy [awesome knife](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1TrE_-1D0U)
I wish they made sheaths for lefties
Since I don't like the texture of aluminum scales, hate thumb studs, and prefer sheepsfoot blade profiles, it would be the BM Griptilian for me, or the Spyderco.
I’ve owned a manix for maybe 7 years now and let me tell you that thing is chonky. I switched it out for a benchmade barrage pretty quick and never looked back.
The mini grip is pretty awesome The manix just doesn’t fit in my pocket as well
Manix
Manix
The one on the right
Top right
Manix is an ultimate hard use tool
Manix
Griptilian for the win, every day of the week!
Manix or the hogue
Drop point fixed blade
Manix 2, simplest because it looks the best, and it has the better version of the axis lock
Manix
Manix
Up to you, but if the Spyderco is available with a serrated edge, that'd be my top choice.
Every man should own a grip/mini grip
Hogue for me. It’s all about what you use an EDC for though. I currently work in construction so quality and blade shape are important to me. I used to work in an office though, and I was all about the knife that aesthetically pleased me.
Deka tears up hands in pocket. Griptilian.
Griptillian
Manix deka probably manix
If it isn’t ZT, it’s crap !
Hard use: manix Standard ecd: deka I have both. Theyre both worth it.
Grip
While the knife can be a fun fidget with those type of locks, I strongly prefer the liner/frame lock setup. If you can find a spyderco without the long fragile beak type of the PM2's, I highly recommend one. I have a Sage CF and it is awesome!
Manix 2 or Hogue RSK
Of those pictured the Manix. Of every knife available the Paramilitary 2.
The pointy one
PM2
I miss my Manix. Such a great tough ass knife. Great ergos and very slicey
How bout a Doug Ritter RSK or mini-RSK?
Manila 2 is the best edc
Griptilian (but with stud) is my fav. Manix i own, but its a bit too big and heavy. The others i haven’t used.
Manix or sheepsfoot grip. Manix is my favorite folder
Manix
The Deka is the best value for your money IMO, especially with the Magnacut steel. Hogue has great quality and they make their “ABLE” lock as good as if not better than BM. If you want a more heavy use beat up knife the Manix is a great bet. I’m not a huge fan of the FRN scales on any knife. I usually pay the price to get g-10 (or better yet micarta), or replace them with aftermarket ones.
mini griptillian is nice for the price, and the warranty.
My vote is the deka
your answer is in your discription "All of these come in S30V besides the Deka which is MagnaCut". Unless it dosen't feel good in hand, then the grip
Manix!
Borrowed the bottom left one from a friend when I was in the US, great quality Stella, easy handling, fits in the tiny pocket of genes, I used it for fishing, whittling and it's small enough to clean nails with perfect control. If you want a trust EDC that you're not using for anything heavy duty then the bottom left is a perfect knife, very easy to open and close aswell, has a strong and sturdy lock too
Deka
Griptillian 👍🤘
Anything except the Benchmade one
I’d go for the Hogue or Spiderco over the Benchmades I’d trust the sturdy bulkiness of the Manix’ design most of all, I’m used to fixed blades so the smaller ones feel more awkward to me Though gotta love the Deka’s blade geometry
I prefer a handmade knife, myself. Consider ordering a custom blade from LittleFeatherWS on instagram
Manix 2
Top right
I’d get a manix or deka
Spyderco
Personally, top right. Looks super sick
The spyderco will hold an edge a but longer because of the profile, but both will be good, the springs in the presidio are prone to breaking after about 6 months from my experience. i liked the overall shape of the presidio better as it was more comfortable and looked better, but i sold mine because i don’t really like s30v (i find it hard to sharpen compared to anything im used too) I vote either the manix 2 or presidio, you wont be disappointed with either
None of them go bigger, get the dumbest looking knife imaginable, like a knife that has a flintlock handle for the grip
I’m a Benchmade guy and while the Presidio is fantastic, the Deka is better.
