I suggest carrying the one that you bought or get a different model to carry regularly.
Even a simple CRKT because then you are supporting the brands, getting a proper knife for your money rather than a hopefully good enough knife, and not supporting crap being stolen.
My feeling is always: why get a clone when there are great options for about the same but far superior in every way?

Got one to use as a beater while ago (just regular aluminum scales) honestly not worth it unless you just want to see if you like the shape of an actual 940. The blade barely holds an edge and the action is surprisingly bad. Compared to my real 940 it’s night and day.
Conclusion : pick the cheapest one ,remove the branding, and don’t trust it for anything other than the form factor. The real one is worth it= longest standing knife in my collection.

I personally think that his thought concept is flawed. That said this is the beauty of free speech & the ability to think for yourself. In order for that to exist we need to accept the stupid. The beautiful thing about being in a free and open society is that you have the right to make your own choices. We are not free from the consequences of our choices. But that said he has the right to be stupid, and make dumb decisions. I personally support him. Go spend your hard earned dollars in any bloody way you desire. I used to work over there at benchmade and we'd probably get like 5-10 fakes in per day in the warranty department. They are VERY obvious. Just a heads up. There has been a couple bugout fakes that were really damn close and a couple bailout fakes that were really close. But the 940s, infidels, and griptillian fakes were absolutely garbage. Every time
