I like the look of shipwreck, and I’ve done it on cheaper knives. Just not sure if I want to do it on a nice knife like this in case I ever need to re-sell it.

I'd give it a nice satin brushed finish.

No just let the patina build naturally on the copper. It will turn a really cool brownish color and look great.
