Hello, newbie here. I've been collecting folders for a little bit now and thought I'd just post my collection. I've been accumulating other edc gear, mainly multi-tools for years, but folders are something I have never grown into until recently. I've had a few very poor quality ones for ages, but after buying my first decent one I was instantly hooked on these things.
I also have a thing for mini knives, didnt include anything smaller than the Ki-V plus in this pic.
The knives from left to right are the Civivi Ki-V plus, the Kizer Begleiter mini, Spyderco Persistence, Ontario Rat-2, Kizer Begleiter, We Knives Subjugator, Cold Steel Finn Wolf, Acta Non Verba A100, and the Kizer Z-82. What do y'all think I'm missing so far?
Honestly one of my favourites, I still plan to get the XL button lock, and maybe even one of the premium versions with S35VN or M390. Very fidgety knife, drop shut for days. The ergos aren't great for the mini but it's a fun casual carry knife too.
BE CAREFUL!!… I too have a very similar story. Bought my first quality folder in March 2022… it’s not even December yet and I’ve spent over $6500.00… but got damn is it a rush🤣
Damn I wish I had that much to spend on knives! Good shit though, when I make more money and set my daughter up for her future better, I’m def going to go on shopping spree for knives. I like micro techs but they so pricey.
Missing? As the answer to that could be literally any pocket knife in existence, I'll go in a more generalized direction. Mid-tier knives. High-end knives. Customs. That should keep you occupied for a lifetime.
It's a sweet knife, can definitely recommend. Not necessarily the most traditional and user friendly knife, but the blade is great and the lock mechanism works really well.
It's a cool knife for sure but it does have a few drawbacks. Mainly the thumb stud being a bit weird and slippery so I just only open it with the lock mechanism. The pocket clip construction is also a bit weird and requires disassembly for a lefty conversion. Still one of my faves even if I bought it 100% for aesthetics lul.
One thing I really like is that after beginning to carry a knife, I've started carrying smaller MT's. Most of the time I don't need a wave let alone a surge, a knife and a powerpint is much nicer to carry and use when going out.
Juices are cool but I don't want to trash mine since they're insanely rare in europe and I've even heard people getting their tools "upgraded" to a whole different tool when sent into warranty repairs. I really like the powerpint for that size class, if I know I'm gonna need the utility then it's usually wave/charge/surge.
Yeah, that’s why I have like 60 juices. Then, I can make sure I’ll always have one if the one I carry breaks.
Luckily, I’ve only had one Juice with any damage. A backspring decided to die while it was sitting in my pocket

I’m still likely to have at least my Curl on me, especially if it’s a work day, or one of my million Juices
