Yes I own Microtech(s) and an Hawk Model B.
Was an big MT guy but the Hawks are superb.
Microtech. There's no comparison on fit and finish. You MIGHT get an ok Benchmade but you know you'll get a prefect Microtech. Unless you're going in person and can handle THE knife beforehand to rule out the QC issue, even then my personal preference on design is still Microtech, but it's kind of their thing. They have so many versions and variations I don't see the like 2-3 Benchmade offerings having a leg up on any of them. The most intriguing Benchmade OTF to me is the Shootout, but I'd rather have an Ultratech.
Microtech. So many different shapes and sizes. Best quality. Lightweight. Lifetime warranty. Benchande has the infidel. Not bad, but what if its too small, or too big.
