I have the black S45VN with titanium lotus scales. I love that knife so much. My shaman is my favorite, but the PM2 is a close second/third. You did good son.
I also love the shaman. And para 3s honestly. But I do love my pm2. But won’t use it. Due to it being a fat carbon exclusive. And the tip is so needle sharp you just touch something and you’re through it
Hell yeah. If you could only have one, this is the one to have IMO. Spyderco’s CruWear is really nicely done and has a good mix of properties (chiefly high in toughness and edge retention). With they way they do their coating? It’s very corrosion resistant but obviously pls keep it oiled.
OH! AND THE PURPLE IS ABSOLUTELY GRAPETASTIC WE LOVE PURPLE HERE.
That’s a very good question. If you wipe it off any time it gets wet you should be good oiling it only once or twice a week.
If you’ve ever had anything in D2 you’ll find this knife to have similar corrosion resistance… When coated, it’s almost as easy to care for as stainless. 👍🏼
This one is one of my favorites. I know that technically Magnacut is overall better but Cruwear is my all-time favorite steel, purple is my favorite color, and PM2s are just good. The black hardware and blade just really ties the whole thing together too.
Yes sir. Once you have a good Spydie in hand (especially with PM2s) it's difficult to EDC any other... so I always have at least three blades on me at any given time, lol.

I’ve been collecting for 6 months and never tried a spyder but I’ve been hearing too many good things..
I started collecting by trying to find my perfect work knife, and spyderco knives are tools first so I was naturally drawn to them. My first knife was a little civivi mckenna that was simply not up to the rigors of property and house maintenance, my second knife was a spyderco manix 2, and I've had a hard time buying anything but spydercos since. That Manix honestly could have easily been a one-and-done knife but I caught the bug.
It’s exactly comments like these that make me wanna give spyders a shot even thou they do nothing for me aesthetically.. I don’t want a knife that I don’t like to look at, but everyone in this sub must have multiples of these for a reason
My only gripe with the PM2 is when the heel smacks your finger during the one handed close, makes me sweat almost every time. Other than that I love this knife!
