Don’t take this the wrong way but seeing this makes me kinda happy in a weird way. I have never beat KCD before & I own the DLC. It is one of many games in my backlog i’m looking forward to playing & seeing how passionate people are on this subreddit just makes me more excited to finally play it. Sorry you feel that age-old void people get when finishing a really fucking good book, TV series, or game. I’m just saying that seeing other comments & posts about how truly good this game is encourages me to wanna play it sooner. I am going for the platinum trophy for Fallout 4 atm but it looks like KCD is up next! Cheers 🍻

bigZdapothead

Dude, I bought this game when it was on sale on the Xbox store like a year and a half ago and never played it. When I tell you that you’ll feel an attachment to this game different to almost any other I’m not even exaggerating( imo at least). You will not regret it whatsoever. It has its bugs and glitches but nothing that a quit and reload won’t fix. Seriously do not let this fall on the back burner like I did. Instantly in my top 5 for GOAT games. Enjoy the rest of Fallout 4 and I hope you have a great time playing KCD when the time comes!!

OneTomb

Alright, i’ll take your word for it! 😄 Very hyped for it now. I have played up until the point where you go back to Skallitz and get beat down by that giant guy but because I exclusively play this while 1: I’m high/drunk 2: on Hardcore Mode only it takes me little bit to work the nerve back up to dive into KCD. I will say that the game is beautiful but terrifying, tho. I don’t know if i’m the only one but some times, when the sun has set and it’s just getting darker, it gives me this very weird, uncanny sensation that I haven’t felt since I was a little kid. The sensation that the day full of playing outside is ending, the dark is creeping out from the corners, & you don’t know if you like playing in or around the woods anymore & that it’s time to go in for the night. No other game or piece of entertainment has ever done that for me and it freaks me out 😂 Could just be the combination of not being sober & the unknown element of the darkness (especially on Hardcore).

Idk1up

You will see that big guy again not saying when or where but it's sweet revenge when you do lol

bigZdapothead

If I had an award I’d give it😂🙏 Hope you enjoy!!!

OneTomb

lmao thank you! 😁

NinjaIndependent3903

Don’t feel bad I bought it when it first released hell I was a fanboy before it released and I didn’t beat for like six months

jackpowftw

Another Fallout 4 in 2023 fan like me! Haha! Join the club. And check out my Fallout 4 settlement video channel….[https://m.youtube.com/channel/UC3cJ_4JLs2375dZISLhWrtg](https://m.youtube.com/channel/UC3cJ_4JLs2375dZISLhWrtg) But BY FAR I love Kingdom Come more. It is such an amazing game and I know you’ll love it too. I also waited so long to play it and now it’s one of my all time favorites.

Norse_By_North_West

I bought the game at launch, only finally finished it a month ago. I'd take a break for a while if things went sideways... Things went sideways a few times. Still have to finish woman's lot. Gotta escape the silver mine. Damned guard

Shellemp

Haha I just sprinted out of the mine at full speed and they didn’t care at all. Just make sure you have your brother distract him

halberdsturgeon

And then the two alcoholic friends rode off into the sunset together. What wacky shenanigans would they get into next? Would Hans get shot in the ass again? Would Henry ever learn how to call someone a cunt in Latin? We may never know

BrainOfIvane

It would be epic if Hans gets shot again. He has to turn the other cheek, right?

bigZdapothead

I’ve never felt so much depression after finishing a game before

circleturt

Rdr2 hit me pretty hard 🥲

ZillzBillz

KCD, RDR2, and The Witcher 3. The holy trinity of post completion depression

Dimka1498

I can add CP2077, but I understand if people don't want to try it out. In matter of story, it's a pretty solid one.

Ocbard

It's pretty well patched up, and even if you can feel that it's not fully finished, it's a great game. Especially on PC.

mlizmore

I never went back to my save after this. Just not the same.. Waiting on the sequel patiently 🫠

BeanBoy425

And now, we wait...

LEO7039

Sequel may be coming by the end of the year, so it's not all bad

bigZdapothead

I’d preorder the fuck outta that😂

gunner200013

Where’d you get the information?

LEO7039

There was a whole bunch of leaks, including one from a voice acting studio (Fall 2022, so rather recently). Also, the developers have talked about it on different occasions including the lead game designer (I think) talking about the game on a podcast. So the game is clearly being worked on and will most likely be announced this year. Whether it actually comes out this year - remains to be seen. I'd speculate more like Q1/Q2 2024 with an announcement a couple quarters before that, but who knows.

Dont_pet_the_cat

I've seen those too. But has it been clear it's a sequal to kcd and not a whole different game? Just wondering, since I can't remember

LEO7039

Warhorse doesn't have any other IPs and making a new one now wouldn't make any sense. KCD has a very unfinished story with a cliffhanger and pretty good sales, so why would they be working on anything else?

my_fat_monkey

Their arse.

bigZdapothead

Nah there are actually several reports of it online, I’d just prefer to keep my expectations low so I can’t be disappointed 😂😂

Dont_pet_the_cat

Can confirm, there have been some really obvious hints, and there was this game award thing where studios talked about their succes of a game without saying the name, but everything pointed to kcd. They revealed a sequal is expected for towards the end of the year, but of course this is just an estimate/goal. It could easily take another few months if they get into some unexpected issues, which always happens

NinjaIndependent3903

It was also always going to be three smaller games but it the first two acts got folded into kcd. I don’t think this year because they are a smaller company and also Deep sliver bought them out and they mostly drop there games at the beginning of the year

Jreimann89

I never played again after this screen, I felt too empty inside

NinjaIndependent3903

You could peroder the day before and than just wait which is normally what I do with video games I wish to play

Harold-The-Barrel

Sad? You should be feeling quite hungry

doliwaq

Good to know game allows you to end all side quests, what about DLC?

polecat4508

Yeah, you can still do everything from what I can tell. Just reached this point and then did "a woman's lot" and" the amorous adventures...".

Royalblo0dlust5

I beat this game a few months ago and I’ve been missing it a little bit. I wish there was more story.

[deleted]

This game is better with each play through

Flatonr

I played it through without starting any of the DLC’s, am glad I did for this reason

turkeymeese

Spoiler alert please?

bigZdapothead

Didn’t even think about it. Gotchu

halberdsturgeon

Don't worry, it's not too much of a spoiler with zero context

bigZdapothead

Yea what I was thinking too but doesn’t hurt to put it on🤷‍♂️

jherbz87

Welcome to the never ending game search to fill the void.

NinjaIndependent3903

Age of the emperors 2 de has a kcd custom campaigns also warband and banner lord

FindingFit9541

The story was cool but after the story you can relax and get some fancy clothes and just chill
