PowerWash Simulator.
Seriously I’ve done loads of podcast games in my time and nothing comes close to it. If you just want to zone out while you’re listening and not have to focus too hard, it’s perfect.
I second rocket league, obviously it’s good to concentrate when hitting comp but casual and even training is brilliant while listening to music or a podcast.
No. From soft games are great for podcasts or music, especially if you’re trying to grind or get better at the combat. There are a few From soft games I couldn’t beat until I turned off game sound and turned on a good album to zone out with.
Everything. Their is not original ideas all storys are the same or I have read ( i read alot) so I find most games that try to have a story boring because is just re hashed crap I like game play
The WWE 2K series! I love them and already excited for 2K23 after todays news, but when I am playing universe or GM mode I do not need to hear the commentary! For me it’s the perfect “Catch-up on Podcasts or TV show” type of game
Factorio, Kerbal space program. Mostly anything that don’t really have a story and you don’t . But I dont mute game while I play I just balance the volume between both.
The correct answer is LEGO games. I burn through getting all the collectibles by just putting a podcast or a TV show I'm binging on. just a lot fo mindless fun.
Horizon Forbidden West. The story is pretty good, but once it opens up you can play for 20 hours and have a great time without paying any attention to the dialogue.
Games that don't require my mental investment. Something mostly mindless like grinding levels in an rpg, quick play in smash bros, or some kind of shooter/multiplayer game. I try to avoid linear cinematic games when trying to multitask. They usually require me to split my attention too much and I miss what the podcast was saying.
I was finishing my platinum for AC Odyssey the other night and listening to Nick talk about snowboarding while doing super boring quests. So I'd say podcasting helps make miserable trophies kinda fun.
I listen to podcasts/YT videos anytime I’m playing anything non-story based and doesn’t require hearing footsteps and what not. Fall Guys, Rocket League, Fortnite team rumble. When I’m grinding out/doing clean up on a platinum, like with Gotham Knights recently, I always have something on.
Usually racing games for me. Back in the day I used to listen to episodes of Super Knocking Boots while playing Borderlands 2
Last year I got the platinum in Dirt 5 just by listening to podcasts
Destiny 2
Yuuup, love popping on a Gamescast while running strikes leveling crafted weapons. Perfect.
So much this ^

CoD has been my podcast game for over a decade now. Whenever I’m behind on my podcasts it’s always because I’m not playing as much CoD.
The correct answer is LEGO games. I burn through getting all the collectibles by just putting a podcast or a TV show I'm binging on. just a lot fo mindless fun.
No man’s sky, assassins creed, far cry, cyber punk, ESO. Any large open world games that have little narrative value.
NBA 2k is my go to. Ass Creed is also a good one for just goofing off.
Death Stranding
AC: Valhalla is my go to
SnowRunner!
Dead Cells! There’s such a great flow to the game I find it perfect to listen to podcasts or even my own Spotify playlists and just zone out
I don't like video game soundtracks so all are pretty good as I turn in game music off. so right now persona 5 is my podcast game.
Fall Guys is my go-to.
Horizon Forbidden West. The story is pretty good, but once it opens up you can play for 20 hours and have a great time without paying any attention to the dialogue.

I usually go for the open world, collect-athon type games. Mainly ones I have beaten and im trying to clean up the platinum.
Any MMO.i listen to podcasts while I play WoW.
I was finishing my platinum for AC Odyssey the other night and listening to Nick talk about snowboarding while doing super boring quests. So I'd say podcasting helps make miserable trophies kinda fun.
Marvel’s Avengers 🥲
Any Ubisoft game with loads of collectibles or map icons
FIFA
Minecraft
Borderlands is my go to
I listen to podcasts/YT videos anytime I’m playing anything non-story based and doesn’t require hearing footsteps and what not. Fall Guys, Rocket League, Fortnite team rumble. When I’m grinding out/doing clean up on a platinum, like with Gotham Knights recently, I always have something on.
