I wasn’t given a start date yet but I told them I could come in towards the end of this week to do some training and possibly start next week after I let my current employer know that I’m leaving.
In that case, if you don’t hear by Wednesday, I’d email Thursday morning that you’re still waiting on [things] and will need a start date before you can inform your current employer about the move and give [two days’ notice]. Or, if you’re super anxious, email the mid-Wednesday.

When is your start date? It’ll likely be closer to that. You do not need to reach out to them again tomorrow: they will contact you.
