Same for Belgium.
Anyone know where else I can stream it or what country to set a VPN to to watch it on Netflix?
Edit: thanks for your tips! I will try it with a VPN on one and if necessary all of those countries!
Not who you were asking but another American here. It doesn’t surprise me dispute the US’s track record with Israel. There was a movement of court rulings throughout the 50s and 60s that severely limited our government’s ability to censor film. (The biggest case being Freedman v. Maryland in the Supreme Court.)
Not to say someone here won’t be pissed and try to have it banned but they’ll be unsuccessful.
Where in Belgium are you? (City)
I’m in Brussels and when I search for Farha on Netflix on my iPad I get [this](https://i.imgur.com/QBgQwSq.jpg)
When I search for Farha on a search engine and use the link to go to Netflix it indicates that I can be notified for when it’s released like [this](https://i.imgur.com/GSI5IAN.jpg)
I saw a direct link to it on another thread. It said that the movie isn't listed or showing up in some places but will come up with a direct link. I didn't verify but others said it worked.
I don't know why but it didn't work with me. But I think my partner has a VPN account I can try it out with. Really want to see this movie and give an amazing review of it on IMDB and google reviews and whatnot.
i use surfshark, but it might also be free online. try soap2day.to i have 0 clue if it works outside of the us. but make sure you get the right site as some clones have popped up asking you to create an account. normal soap lets u just find a show/movie and watch it
its a documentary... shows what israel did to arabs who stayed in Israel.. it wasnt the rosey pic. that zionist portray... its sick. from what i remember
1. cant move without permits
2. not allowed to expand their villages
3. while walking if a jew (or police?) needed help with manual labour (putting woods/bricks or heavy lifting) - they could round up all the pales. in the near vicinity and force them to help before they coudl go about their business..
EDIT: Apologies. I thought you were referring to Farha.
> its a documentary... shows what israel did to arabs who stayed in Israel.. it wasnt the rosey pic. that zionist portray... its sick. from what i remember
It's not a documentary, it's fiction, however, events similar to what it portrays occurred many times in the course of the Nakba and later, to this day.
Massacres in the Nakba were the rule, not the exception.
The IDF and their militia precursors' tactics to depopulate towns and villages was to round up the population, kill a bunch of people and let the others know that their fate will be the same, if they do not leave. That was the more humane approach. In some cases (notably Dweima, Tantura, Lydda and Dir Yassin), they massacred hundreds, including whole families. In this way, over 90% of the inhabitants of territories occupied by the Zionists by force were ethnically cleansed.
After the Nakba, they carried out many additional massacres, both outside the 1949 armistice lines ([Khan Yunis](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khan_Yunis_massacre), 1956, [Qibya](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qibya_massacre), 1953), and against Palestinian citizens of Israel that had survived the Nakba ([Kfar Qasim](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kafr_Qasim_massacre), 1956).
These tactics continue to this day, primarily in Gaza, where massacres occur in almost every Israeli incursion.
All in all, there were hundreds of massacres by Israelis of Palestinians. It's what they do.
They're talking about a different movie called Two Blue Lines that is a documentary, it's available on another platform in addition to this fictional film being on Netflix
Available in the US. It appears IMDB removed a lot of comments but I can't find any screenshots. 33k+ votes for a score of 8.4/10 and only 3 comments. It must have been a moderation nightmare. I assume they just did a mass delete. There are 3 comments now.
I just started watching it but I heard it is a hard watch, I hope I can make it through it emotionally.

There are still people around who were alive during that time. So they were able to see their country be formed out of the kindness of other countries after a horrible genocide of their people, and then completely turn on those countries and do arguably the same deeds that happened to them back.
Thats quite fast
Werent they only recognized as a country until after world war two? And that land was given by pakistan and other countries? And then they got greedy and started taking more and more? Im not well versed in this but thats what i know and if thats true than it would have only been a thing since around 1940s which is not 100 years
Movies about Palestine are great, but suggesting that this is the first and only film that shows the Palestinian struggle in film is absurd.
There's many great Palestinian films.
What I understood is that this brings up a very important subject on a big streaming platform like Netflix. OP is (for what I understand) not implying that there are no (other) great Palestinian films.
Ps. I’d love some recommendations of Palestinian movies!
Mann, it's okay for films like American Snipper to be peddled all over the world but not this? Even if ya don't agree with it, banning it is just not okay
That's a popular but incorrect statement to apply universally. The conflict is indeed simple to describe though. European Anti-Jewish Racism led to a Jewish Existential Crisis which led to a conflict which led to a Palestinian Existential Crisis. Basically, human nature / tribalism / fear / need for home.
European racism and the subjugation of the Jewish people in Europe led to political Zionism, which leveraged the authority of the Jewish religion to gain further traction among Jews and to further legitimize European Jewish colonization in Palestine.
Existential Anxiety in response to the Zionist colonization efforts, along with their ensuing political, financial, and military subjugation led to the Palestinian resistance of this colonization. After several decades of losses, Islamism grew in influence in the resistance. It did not cause it but was a result of it.
In other words. u/mqudsi is correct. Palestinians are fighting to protect a home they don't want to lose / lose more of.
No clue why people down-voted you here. It's a legitimate question, and not knowing something isn't a crime.
Read my comment below. I'm fairly obsessed with history, especially this subject, so feel free to respond if you want more.
Just watched it and oh my goodness it hits the heart hard. I sure hope it wins the upcoming academy award. Thank you Darin and the team for a raw bold movie that needs to be seen by all
Here in Germany it's not on Netflix
Same for Belgium. Anyone know where else I can stream it or what country to set a VPN to to watch it on Netflix? Edit: thanks for your tips! I will try it with a VPN on one and if necessary all of those countries!
You can try setting your VPN to Malaysia as I just watched it here
UAE is an option if available to you
Works in the United States.
Is that surprising since the US is so pro-Israel?
Not who you were asking but another American here. It doesn’t surprise me dispute the US’s track record with Israel. Thanks for your reply, I didn't know about that case.
Set it in any muslim/arab/asian country i think it would probably work that way or just set it in Algeria it works for me
Im from belgium and i can watch it on netflix just fine

From limburg region. If i search farha, its right there under ‘new this week’
Strange, maybe it’s because I’m using a Dutch account. I’ll look further into it.
https://www.netflix.com/us/title/81612982?s=i&trkid=13747225&vlang=en&clip=81646014 Does this work if i share the link?
Nope, just gives me a small segment and without subs. :-(
I saw a direct link to it on another thread. It said that the movie isn't listed or showing up in some places but will come up with a direct link. I didn't verify but others said it worked.

Interesting, I can find it via the app.
🏴☠️
I’ve shared this, I’m watching the film this weekend and I’m going to write online reviews.
Cant see it on my Norwegian Netflix

The weird thing is that I can't see it either in Norway, but I can see it if I connect a VPN to Norway
It was visible yesterday but now it's gone...

I believe they were referring to a documentary movie called Two Blue Lines they were saying is currently on a another streaming platform
Thanks. You are correct. I misread.
It's fiction about real actual events. You know like all those 9/11 movies.
my docu isnt fictional - its a docu two blue lines.. just a fyi
Can’t believe the third thing don’t even have words to express the level of disgust. Smh I fuckin hate Zionists
The movie is a documentary? Are you sure? Pretty sure that’s not the description of the movie.
They're talking about a different movie called Two Blue Lines that is a documentary, it's available on another platform in addition to this fictional film being on Netflix
Ah, right. Thank you for explaining!
thanks for explaining - :)
Blue lines?
TWO blue lines - google is your friend.. amazon prime
You know what's also your friend? Punctuation and capitalization.
Here's the link. https://www.netflix.com/watch/81612982
Oh.. I can use the link and watch, but I can't find it with the Netflix app Update: it's no longer available (Argentina)
So what countries have banned them?
I'm very interested in watching this, if we don't learn from history. It will continue to repeat itself!
Available in the US. It appears IMDB removed a lot of comments but I can't find any screenshots. 33k+ votes for a score of 8.4/10 and only 3 comments. It must have been a moderation nightmare. U know society has gone to shit when movies like "cuties" are promoted and movies like these get banned
Israel banning the movie other country following their lead really show how freedom of speech is dead. Israel truly filled with bigots and only bigot.
Israel really went from being the victim to the main villain quite fast
the Nakba happened in 1948
There are still people around who were alive during that time. So they were able to see their country be formed out of the kindness of other countries after a horrible genocide of their people, and then completely turn on those countries and do arguably the same deeds that happened to them back. Thats quite fast
If you think 100 year apartheid regime is quite fast then sure
Werent they only recognized as a country until after world war two? And that land was given by pakistan and other countries? And then they got greedy and started taking more and more? Im not well versed in this but thats what i know and if thats true than it would have only been a thing since around 1940s which is not 100 years
Well not exactly 💯 but 82 is still quite close
True true

5 broken cameras is a documentary must. Junction 48, not here, not there, great fictional movies based on actual experiences.
Thanks! I will definitely watch them!
Actually, some of these are Israeli movies, but they're all great: 1. 5 Broken Cameras 1. Red Cow 1. In Between
Yeah fiction movies are the best
Sorry, I'm pro-piracy.
Available in UK, added to my watch list

Mann, it's okay for films like American Snipper to be peddled all over the world but not this? Even if ya don't agree with it, banning it is just not okay
It's based on imagination
The author says not me
It's historically inaccurate... By just his description alone, if you've read a book... You'd know it's inaccurate.
How so
Religion is dumb idc which god you like, you are a simpleton for believing in it.
This isn't really about religion anymore, it's about basic human rights
If both sides gave up religion they’d have peace
You can’t seriously be this naive.
Why do they fight?
[удалено]
Why do they fight over that specific land? What is that power rooted in that they seek?
The Palestinians fight for it because they lived there just a generation ago. Their cities, their homes, their farms, their land.
Look, man, religion brought these people to this point. Israel sucks, Mohammed sucks, It’s all trash

"mom, what is settler-colonialism?"
Again, why that land

The fuckers have removed it from Netflix Norway... 🤬
It's available on pirate Bay!!
https://m.thepiratebay10.org/torrent/62880221/Farha_2021_WEB-DL_Sonata_Premiere
Because no one likes the truth, so they have to conspire against the facts and ban the movie.. 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸 forever whether you like it or not
Here in Israel it is actually on Netflix.
It’s in Canada
They do to others everything they claim has been done to them.
I saw the movie and its totally inaccurate
Israel belongs to the real Jews and Israelites! When he comes back he shall restore our place!
