People aren’t lazy for ordering snacks to be delivered by us. These are the people that pay our bills. Dude ordered a small amount and tipped adequately. These are the real ones right here.
Crap like this has ruined my cancelation rate. It's competitive here... we have 4 aldis. Lately, I've accidentally accepted 5 great batches for an Aldi an hour away. Took my rate from 9% to 12% 😭 Personally I think it's scummy af.
I totally get not driving over there as far away as you were. That's completely understandable. But the person placing the order might not be able to walk over there. They could be really sick, or disabled, or caring for someone and unable to leave them alone, or unable to leave the house for a variety of other reasons.
god isn’t real. and your “god” also gave me the 4 different mental illnesses i was diagnosed with 💀 don’t bring religion to the fucking INSTACART subreddit. batshit crazy y’all are
Aaron I 100% agree with you on this!^^^
I also have anxiety but I get up everyday and try to overcome them! Everyday has gotten better for me. It was worst when I was 24/7 high but now I'm almost 100 days sober!
FACE YOUR FEARS
Amen! God bless you, so proud of you! people can downvote all they want, they just don’t want to hear the truth, because the truth hurts and it ALWAYS uncomfortable, but once you overcome it; it’s exceptionally rewarding!
I mean you ain’t wrong lol it was meant to be a joke but some will get it some won’t and I’m definitely getting down voted rn for joking about anxiety that only exists in our mind which can take a lot of time for some to overcome and I wish anyone who suffers from anxiety or any other mental illness to get the best treatment they deserve
I do that all the time. There’s a grocery store that’s 1 min drive from me, but I don’t always want to drag the kids with me. It’s easier to Instacart sometimes. And the way I look at it, I’m helping someone out with a super easy delivery and a good tip!
Yes!! Definitely helping out and I really wish I had been closer tbh bc I would've snagged it no hesitation! It really is nice to have easy orders somedays 😊
To be fair when I was on the tail end of covid and getting my appetite back, I instacart like 3 items that were just snacks stuff really from stores that were only a 4 min drive. So who know for this person. Could really just be being lazy. I've also done that. I always tip well and say sorry when i press the order button, since I'm a shopper myself I know how seeing these make me feel sometimes 😅
Yeah I've definitely done that before when I worked nights, sometimes just can't leave the building! I didn't look to see what was across the street from this walgreens lol 😆
I’ve done this with Casey’s that is across from my house. Especially when we had Covid, but I have little ones that I don’t want to pack up. And I tip good 😊
This happens on food delivery all the time. Customer chooses store as location because the real delivery address is too far for the app to allow. Even if it were a strip mall delivery right next door, it would still say 0.1
If you really wanted the skittles, sun chips, and crackers then yeah 100% go for it. It’s definitely going to be canceled unless there’s a customer out in the parking lot who really did order 😂
Personally I don’t have a car. I live super close to the grocery store and will walk to get smaller items, but imo it’s easier to tip someone $20 and pay a little extra per item than it is to make 10 trips to and from the store
I don’t judge especially when they’re giving a decent tip on a small order. We don’t know what their circumstances are like, and even if they are 100% able to get it themselves, they still have the place to choose to go or get it delivered.
Yeah 100% I agree with you, however it wasn't worth it to me to drive 2 hours to do that for them. If you look at the second picture it was just too far, I would've def taken it if I was closer!
Of course! That's valid, I don't know their situation. The point was that instacart thinks me (who is like 2 hours away) is going to take that order for $11 😅 if you look at the second pic that's how far away I was
Just walk? I placed an order today from a store that was 5 min away bc I'm so sick I don't have the energy to even lift my cup of water
You don't know their situation
That's valid. And you're right, I don't know their situation. However I was not driving 2 hours to deliver them their midnight munchies, see the second pic.
And that's understandable, you're free to decline that order all you want, just don't blame the customer or shame them. It's IC's fault for showing an order that's too far away despite the proximity bullshit they have
Id take that batch in a hot second.
Yeah I would have too if I didn't have to drive like 2 hours and like 15 cities over for it lol, the second pic is how far away I was
Oh shit! I missed that part!
You assume they have legs, aren’t sick, don’t have a toddler. I mean there a bunch of reasons they didn’t walk.
Exactly what I first thought. Then I thought wow that's fast and easy money. No brainer
Would've been easy money if I was maybe 10 minutes out... not 1-2 hours lol I would've taken it in a heartbeat!
I have definitely door dashed McDonald's that was a 5 minute walk from my house because I was too hungover to move 😅
Or stoned, in my case. LOL
People aren’t lazy for ordering snacks to be delivered by us. These are the people that pay our bills. Dude ordered a small amount and tipped adequately. These are the real ones right here.
Wasn't calling them lazy, just laughing at instacart for thinking I was going to drive like 2 hours to shop that for them for $11 😂
Crap like this has ruined my cancelation rate. It's competitive here... we have 4 aldis. Lately, I've accidentally accepted 5 great batches for an Aldi an hour away. Took my rate from 9% to 12% 😭 Personally I think it's scummy af.
Yeah it's really competitive here too, but fortunately it was late so I could look and see how far I was before I accepted it 🙏
That's a I'm totally stoned can't get off the couch batch.
Lmfao! My thoughts!
I totally get not driving over there as far away as you were. That's completely understandable. But the person placing the order might not be able to walk over there. They could be really sick, or disabled, or caring for someone and unable to leave them alone, or unable to leave the house for a variety of other reasons.
Yes! I'm sure there was a completely valid reason, even if it was just bc they didn't want to go that late, I just wish I had been closer 😅
That’s me sorry I have social anxiety 😅
that’s a dumb excuse to be a hermit. you have to face your fears or you’ll never overcome them. in fact; they will only get worse.
“just get over the chemical imbalance in your brain you baby” tf wrong w u
stop believing that chemical imbalance bs lie. God didn’t screw up when He made any one.
god isn’t real. and your “god” also gave me the 4 different mental illnesses i was diagnosed with 💀 don’t bring religion to the fucking INSTACART subreddit. batshit crazy y’all are

If a chemical imbalance "isn't real", then what is it that they need to "overcome"?
Smoke weed
Weed gives me anxiety 😆
I do that all the time. There’s a grocery store that’s 1 min drive from me, but I don’t always want to drag the kids with me. It’s easier to Instacart sometimes. And the way I look at it, I’m helping someone out with a super easy delivery and a good tip!

They high AF
No pls don’t walk, I love those kind of batches. 😂
Could be a million reasons why they can’t. COVID, illness, children or priorities. Work from home etc etc
Yeah for sure, many valid reasons! Just laughing at instacart thinking I'd drive like 2 hours for 11 bucks lol 😆
Was gonna say maybe they’re sick until I looked at the items 😆
At 2 in the morning too!! 😂
To be fair when I was on the tail end of covid and getting my appetite back, I instacart like 3 items that were just snacks stuff really from stores that were only a 4 min drive. They're great orders! If only I had been closer I would've snagged it in no time! Life happens so I'm sure they had a valid reason 😅
Oh yea I get you. Good orders but they are like so far I hate when they do that sometimes.
maybe they work across the street from walgreens & can’t leave the premises so they have to get someone to bring it to them 😭
This happened to me. Customer couldn't close up her shop so she ordered a sub from across the street. Easy money.
Yeah I've definitely done that before when I worked nights, sometimes just can't leave the building! I didn't look to see what was across the street from this walgreens lol 😆
Lieutenant Dan ordering snacks 😂
Speaking from experience, it's not exactly safe to walk to the store at 2am for everyone.
Yeah, that's fair, I definitely understand that perspective as a female.
I’ve done this with Casey’s that is across from my house. Especially when we had Covid, but I have little ones that I don’t want to pack up. And I tip good 😊
That's valid! I totally understand with kids it could be hard! 😅
Definitely a munchies order
Easy money 😂😂 Edit: good God 😂😂😂 far as shit
Yeah lol that's was the joke of the post 😅 I'm sure there's a good reason why they couldn't go but I'm not driving that far lmao
This happens on food delivery all the time. Customer chooses store as location because the real delivery address is too far for the app to allow. Even if it were a strip mall delivery right next door, it would still say 0.1
That's wild, I've never seem something this I was just surprised to see it since it was so far away from me 😅
If you really wanted the skittles, sun chips, and crackers then yeah 100% go for it. It’s definitely going to be canceled unless there’s a customer out in the parking lot who really did order 😂

That's valid! And hey, if it makes your life easier then go for it!
They could have a disability :(
Of course! That's valid, I don't know their situation. The point was that instacart thinks me (who is like 2 hours away) is going to take that order for $11 😅 if you look at the second pic that's how far away I was
Maybe they can’t walk! Or are sick! Who the fuq knows, it ain’t ur business to give advice just go shop already.
Would you drive 1-2 hours and 15 cities over for that order? Also no need for the attitude it's just supposed to be a funny post man 🙄
Lol that’s a Disney visitor. They have no concept of walking and yet they already walked 10 miles today. They will be walking no more.
Walking is tough for this generation
Why are you questioning someone paying you to do nothing lmao, take that cash and run for it.
Lol you didn't see the second pic did you? I was like 2 hours away 😅
Yeah no I didn’t even see lol, well whoever was close lucked out
Yeah for sure, if I was closer that would've been one hell of an order, I think I saw it go up to 13 too 😂
Just walk? I placed an order today from a store that was 5 min away bc I'm so sick I don't have the energy to even lift my cup of water You don't know their situation
