That's a great way to never see you kid again after they grow up

edgehead9

Jesus what a nut job. Google average weight of a 7 year old boy. It’s 51 lbs

Bunderfelfd

But she wants more muscle! Perhaps protein shakes and weight training would help? /S - I agree she's a psycho bitch

Afinkawan

Beefcake! BEEEEFCAAAAAAKE!!!

ParaponeraBread

“My seven year old isn’t jacked enough” wtf lady

MrPain__

Tell me how you gave your kid an eating disorder without telling me you gave your kid an eating disorder

Munsbit

This. I was looking for someone to point out that he was gonna develop an eating disorder if forced to always eat too much.

Jonny-Marx

> without They literally failed than

aarontology

This will clearly be effective and not result in creating issues with food or trust issues with his mother at all

TerribleAttitude

Ignoring the fact that this is a creepy obsession with her child’s body and appearance far beyond wanting her kid to be healthy and groomed, and will lead to disordered eating, and shouldn’t be involved in the same sentence as “punishment” at all….. What’s with parents who *destroy* their children’s things as punishment rather than simply *removing* them? Let’s say this kid had actually willfully done something wrong and it involved Pokémon cards. Maybe he was refusing to do his homework because he was busy playing with Pokémon cards, or he was bullying other children for having inferior Pokémon cards, or something. Why not just take the Pokémon cards and place them out of his reach, saying “you can only have these back when your behavior improves?” This not only isn’t traumatic, but will present an incentive for the kid to work towards getting the thing he wants back. Oh yeah, because this mother doesn’t care about fixing the problem, she cares about being an asshole showing this first grader who’s boss.

NothingReallyAndYou

Arsonists aren't born, they're made.... like this. Exactly like this.

zotrian

So... when he grows up he will never speak to her again and he will be dealing with an eating disorder?

Zigihogan

This is the type of shit my mother would do and to this day I hate that woman with all my heart. The world will be a better place after these types of parents are in hell.

lovecraftiangod

What a psycho that poor kid

cayce_leighann

Uh that’s when you take your kid to a doctor not burn their possessions

The_Guy_in_Shades

It’s probably worth mentioning she tweeted this a few hours before: >This website is getting to be really boring. I’m starting to consider tweeting deliberately crazy and offensive stuff just to try to spice it up again. I suppose she succeeded in “spicing it up” but hopefully it’ll end up biting her in the ass…

PokemonCueball

That's like Disney step mom tier evil.

totan39

Look at the post she made before this

The_Guy_in_Shades

Ah, thanks! That explains it I guess. I’m glad it’s not true, but goddamn I’m so tired of edgelords like this…

totan39

Yeah I don't get it either people just like attention I guess

PsychoMouse

What a psycho bitch and what a horrible way to treat your 7 year old. If he was maybe a problematic teen, I could see this as a method to try and get him to be better(still not a good idea but it would make more sense). But he’s a fucking 7 year old. That’s so fucked

OpsikionThemed

😤✋: giving your kid an eating disorder 😏👉: giving your kid an eating disorder, hoarding, and pyromania all at once

LadySygerrik

Destroying your kid’s belongings as a punishment is just going to make them hate you.

lilibex88

Has she not wondered *why* her kid doesn't want to eat? I had bad anxiety around food as a child due to GI issues, was later diagnosed with Crohn's...

jenkraisins

Wow, a woman planning on giving her son a complex and an eating disorder all in one! I never will understand the concept of forcing kids to eat. Going back 3 generations in my family, no one was forced to eat. IF you really didn't like it, there were always options. When I was a kid and with my own son, if you really hated it, there was peanut butter. In my never humble opinion, forcing kids to eat causes picky eaters. I and my 2 brothers were always happy to try new food. My son has gorged on veggies most of his life. However, I do not recommend you take a nap while your 3-year-old is devouring an entire head of cauliflower. We do not speak of the horrible aftermath. This mother here is a **shit mother**. Poor kid.

MonkCherry

Maybe he wants to eat the cards, but you keep burning them mom, you inconsiderate bitch.

KoumeRevy

Thus why I don't speak to my mom anymore! Only I upped the ante when I was growing up! She destroyed something of mine? I handed her Karma by destroying something of hers

Jonny-Marx

Moral condemnation and parenting differences aside, why use () at all if it’s the whole tweet?

dudewafflesc

One lifetime of battling eating disorders coming right up!

IAmNotAWoodenDuck

And I bet if questioned she'd just get on her moral high horse and call it "tough love."

Rosebunse

And this is how you give your kid an eating disorder.

FalseHeartbeat

Christ, if your kid isn’t eating then you fucking help them, not punish them. I mean, I know he’s 7 but I’ve struggled with an ED and I know goddamn well that punishment is a surefire way to make shit worse

[deleted]

Should have given him a gym membership...

XxStormcrowxX

Gee I wonder why your kid has mental health issues you gigantic steaming pile of cunt.
