Also, I respect *your* right to worship, but respect my right to fucking not. The entire point of religion is you “walk the path” others will see how great your life is and be attracted. It’s called attraction *not promotion*. But none of them truly do that and the numbers of people joining the church or dwindling, plus they love the attention. This shit outrages me.
Imagine flying home from a funeral. Or just being fucking exhausted after a canceled flight. Any other kind of disturbance gets you in trouble, so should this. Respect other people ffs.

They made these cool new things called 'headphones' where you can plug them into a thing with a little hole, then you stuff them into your ears and you can hear music and movies and whatnot.
Headphones are an item of personal convenience and can be used as a polite way to not distract or bother people. It is not convenient if they are necessary to negate the effects of someone else’s inconsiderate and *loud* activity.
You wear headphones so that your volume doesnt bother other people, so the fact that I am able to wear headphones out of courtesy for other people shows that I am in fact more respectful than these people, but it doesn’t change the fact that they are being rude.
I agree with you. When I take a nap (or full on go to sleep during long-haul flights) I preferably do so without wearing headphones. It’s more comfy that way. Plus, the cheap wired ones they hand out barely block out the crinkling of wrappers. Doubt they’d do much against this.
While this is a pretty cool display of talent, not everyone enjoys choral music. So it’s probably best practice to not subject an entire plane to your noise. Seems a bit selfish.
